Well, I don't really know much about Touhou, aside from the fact that it has a huge following, and features psychos and odd abilities (and armpit fetishes, since if I remember correctly, that's a girl's sexual organ).
Yes, odd isn't it (That's anime, or rather, Japanese fondness for weirdness for you <3)? The character designs are interesting, and the huge following it has results in some superb art and multimedia.
Case in point, this video I found recently, it is made of pure epicness.
Pretty good music, and the style is awesome, and the art itself (in spite of being black and white) clearly show an attention to detail in the character's designs.
Personally, I'd like to see some proper anime based around Touhou (I know there is some anime, but it isn't professionally made).
Now, on to the other half of this article...
Rapture.....That's where this title takes place, deep underwater, in a city called Rapture. Actually in this game, it's set in two time periods. Before Bioshock 1 events, and after Bioshock 1's end. The multiplayer takes place in the events leading up to it, and the main story, where you play as the original Big Daddy (Delta), occurs 10 years (I think) after Bioshock 1 concludes.
The game isn't out yet, not until the 9th of February (so less than a week!), but there have been reviews, previews, gameplay vids, etc, as is usual with the months leading up to the release.
Still, I have to say that while it didn't ultimately reveal much, I like the teaser trailer below:
I have this game on pre-order over Steam, which saved me $5 off of the Steam price (it is still going, last I checked). I'll miss out on the special edition which includes a Vinyl LP (cool, but impractical, since I don't HAVE a record player XD), a CD, an artbook, and of course the game, all in a nice large case (because of the LP). The CD well, I can get that by other means, and while the artbook would be nice, I could probably find all the images I want for the game online. So all in all, it isn't worth the extra price for me to get the special edition, as much as it pains me to say that....
I will be playing Bioshock 2 (hopefully the moment it launches on steam, assuming I get an early-DL with my pre-order), or rather, as soon as I wake up that day (According to the Steam release time, it won't be until 5PM I think it was, I'll be asleep). I plan to capture some vids on the same day I start playing.
