You're proposing an introduction of a GED certification course for high school freshman? I'm a freshman in college and still don't know what I want to do with my life.
GED courses in college are by no means a waste of time. There are countless events where GE's helped find college students (let alone save their GPAs!). As a student at a liberal arts institute, having these balances is exactly what differentiates my toolkit from others'.
My resume won't be a boring, strict and standard "pre-med" application (used only as an example). That's the quality in GE's, liberal arts and balance. I love 'em. I love having the cushion they provide. read more
