Uh, it takes 8 minutes for light from the sun to get to earth. Pretty sure there are plenty of stars between the distances of 8 light-minutes and "a few million" light-years away

Ahahahaha well played. I now have this picture of a small ray of 'wish' travelling at like 20mph in space, very very slowly making its way towards the sun.
