With nothing else left to do, Black headed back to Sunyshore City's Pokémon Center.
As that was happening, Krotenius was currently sitting on his throne, with his body leaned back, his arms on the throne’s armrests, and both feet on the ground. His entire body was also covered in shadows as usual. Before Krotenius, at the center of the throne room, were five poles, each with a person tied to it by some chains, and those five people were each facing Krotenius, though their faces could not be seen due to the darkness that engulfed the room. The silhouettes of five Les Falcons Satanique Grunts - three males and two females - could also be seen standing behind the five people who were each tied to a pole, and facing Krotenius, while the silhouettes of twelve more people could also be seen standing in the throne room in front of Krotenius, with six of them standing in a row between two huge pillars on the side of the room to Krotenius's right, while the other six were standing in a row on the side of the room to Krotenius's left, also between two huge pillars, with both of the lines formed by the twelve people being parallel to Krotenius's line of vision, as well as the two rows of gigantic pillars found on either sides of the throne room. All twelve of the aforementioned people were also facing the center of the throne room, where the five people each tied to a pole were, meaning that the twelve figures standing in a line on the side of the room to Krotenius's left were all facing the twelve people standing in a line on the side of the room to Krotenius's right, and vice-versa, and all the lines of visions of all twelve of those people were also perpendicular to the lines of vision of Krotenius, the five people each tied to a pole, and the five Les Falcons Satanique Grunts who were standing in the room. Because they were only silhouettes in a dark room, the details of the twelve people's appearances remained a complete mystery, although some information about their appearances were apparent given the shape of their shadows:
The figure who was standing closest to Krotenius to his left appeared to be a tall man wearing a flat hat, a blazer, trousers and leather shoes, who was standing up straight with his arms down his sides, giving off a serious-looking, straight-laced and professional appearance. The person who was standing to the left of the aforementioned person was a thin, yet muscular man with curly hair, large round earrings each with a falcon-shaped part at the bottom, carrying a heavy machinegun behind his back, and wearing a sleeveless shirt, baggy pants and slippers, who was also standing up straight but had his hands in his pockets and was shaking his right leg, giving a laid-back appearance much in contrast to that of the man wearing a flat hat. To the left of the man with the earrings was a bulky full-figured woman with long, curly hair, dressed in a skin-tight suit, and standing with her large, thick arms folded below her breasts, while she also had a big pistol attached to both sides of her large waist, and she also carried a shotgun over her right shoulder. To the left of the full-figured woman was a quite man of medium height with short, spiky hair, a labcoat, trousers, and sneakers. He was also wearing a pair of glasses with round lens, something that was evident by the fact that a pair of light-reflecting circles were present on his silhoutte at the place where his eyes would be, and he was currently standing with his left arm across his chest, his left hand supporting his right elbow, and his right hand fixing his glasses. To the left of the man with glasses was a quite tall man with well-groomed hair, and wearing a large and long cape with huge, raised collars at the top, trousers, and a pair of large boots. And to the left of this person was an androgynous person, who was of medium height, had extremely long hair that seemed to be wrapped extremely thickly and tightly around their entire upper body, and also was not wearing any pants or shoes, revealing their long, slender and rather feminine legs and feet. This person's arms were also not visible, as they seemed to be wrapped up within their extremely long and huge hair.
The figure who was standing closest to Krotenius to his right was a tall man with short hair, wearing robes and boots, and carried two short but broad sheathed swords at the sides of his waists. To the right of this person was a slender and busty teenage girl with long, flowy hair and a small amount of it tied to a small ponytail, and wearing a top with neither sleeves nor shoulder straps, a pair of sleeves that were not attached to her top, a short skirt, and boots, and she was also carrying what appeared to be a longsword in a sheath at the left side of her waist. Just like the man with the flat hat, this girl stood up straight with her arms down her sides, giving her a serious-looking appearance. To the right side of the teenage girl stood a short and elderly woman whose head was covered in a hood, but her face was uncovered enough to reveal her unusually long and pointed nose, and she was wearing a shirt, a dress, and leaning forward, supporting herself with a walking stick. She was also the shortest person currently in Krotenius's throne room. To the right of that old woman was an extremely tall, fit and muscular man who appeared to be even more muscular than Captain Falcon himself, and he had a mohawk, and was wearing nothing except for a pair of shorts, a pair of boxing gloves, and sneakers, and this man was standing up straight with his arms down his sides, just like the man with the flat hat and the teenage girl. Of all the people currently standing in Krotenius's throne room, the man with the mohawk and boxing gloves was also the second tallest, and standing to his right was by far the tallest person in the room: He was an unbelievably huge and hulking figure who was almost twice as tall as the man with the mohawk as well as being about six times his total size, and had a pair of unusually long and insanely thick and muscular arms and fists, which were gigantic even in proportion to his already-massive body! He was also standing in an extremely bizarre position for a human, as he was standing on all fours, with his front body leaning forward and his enormous fists placed on the ground in front of him like a mountain gorilla, although despite the fact that he was standing on all fours, his knees were not bent at all, as although his legs were long and thick relative to that of everyone else in the room, they were short and thin relative to his extremely long and huge arms. This unbelievably gigantic, gorilla-like person had almost no hair on his head, except for just a few coming out of the very top of his massive head, and he also appeared to be wearing a pair of shorts, a pair of extremely large spiky collars around his wrists, large boots, and a sleeveless shirt that revealed his absolutely massive arms, each of which were about the size of the average person currently in Krotenius's room! And finally, to the right of that massive individual was what appeared to be a young woman about the same height as the teenage girl in the room, although she was even thinner, having a body bordering on anorexia, and had a flat chest, long hair that seemed to cover all four sides of her head and thus covering her face, and was wearing some robes, but she was barefoot. This woman's body was slightly slumped forward, with her arms hanging down in front of her in a very creepy manner. This woman's posure, along with the fact that she was completely not moving her body at all, as not even her breathing could be visibly observed unlike that of everyone else in the room, would make one question whether she was even alive, or merely a standing corpse.
“Welcome to my castle. It is an honor to meet the five of you… the greatest Pokémon researchers of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova.” Krotenius then calmly said to the five people tied to a pole before him with delight.
“Dammit! You bastard! Let us go!” the person tied to the pole to Krotenius’s very left then shouted angrily in a female voice, confirming her gender, as she struggled against the chains that tied her to the pole in an attempt to escape, without success though.
“I am willing to let you go… as soon as one of you tell me, and I confirm the location of the Azure Flute.” Krotenius then said.
“We already told you! We know nothing about it!” the person tied to the pole to Krotenius’s very right then shouted in Professor Oak’s voice, confirming his identity as Professor Oak!
“Supposing such an item even exists in the first place, the Azure Flute was forged way back during the Ancient Pokémon War Era, if such an event even happened in the first place! For the longest of time, it has only been spoken of in legend. No one known to history has even touched such an item in the last four thousand years!” the person tied to the pole second to Krotenius’s left then said in a male voice.
“I see. That’s a shame then. If that’s the way it’s going to be, then I’ll just let my dragons…” Krotenius then said, as some loud and intimidating beast-like roars were suddenly heard coming from directly behind the gigantic dragon statue behind Krotenius’s throne! Immediately after that, the silhouettes of a Charizard and a Salamence suddenly appeared from the left side of the dragon statue from behind it, while the silhouettes of a Garchomp and a Hydreigon suddenly appeared from the right side of the statue from behind it, and then the four dragons each faced the five people tied to the poles and let out some loud and intimidating roars, frightening the five people tied to the poles! “…slowly feast upon your flesh over the next three days... until you either die of blood loss, or tell me the truth.” Krotenius then continued, shocking the five people tied to the poles!
“You bastard!” the woman tied to the pole to Krotenius’s very left then shouted angrily and fearfully as she heard that, while the other four people who were tied to a pole each gasped loudly in fear and despair!
“With that said, leave Professor Oak alone though. We may need him in perfect condition… just in case of something.” Krotenius then said, and as he ended his sentence, he placed his left elbow on the left armrest of his throne, pointed his left forearm upward while gently clenching his left fist, and then leaned the left side of his face comfortably on his left fist. The silhouettes of the Charizard, Salamence, Garchomp and Hydreigon then suddenly lunged at the five people tied to the poles in front of Krotenius at a very high speed, while letting out some vicious roars!
Meanwhile, Black was currently sitting on a couch inside Sunyshore City's Pokémon Center, as he waited for his Gyarados to recover. He rested comfortably and relaxedly on the couch with his body leaned back and his hands behind his head, as he started thinking about everything he experienced so far on his journey, as well as what may lie ahead of him.
"Damn that Captain Falcon...! I'll never forgive him!" Black then thought to himself, as he visibly clenched his teeth together angrily for a brief amount of time, while he remembered all the crimes he personally witnessed Captain Falcon performing so far, including killing the Natu trainer dressed in gray, brutally and physically assaulting Black himself on two separate occasions, and sinking the ship Black had boarded before, on top of killing hundreds of people on that ship. Black then closed his eyes for a bit and sighed in order to clear that anger from his mind. After that, he reopened his eyes, displaying a more thoughtful look in them, and wondered "But how exactly did I get healed back to perfect condition despite what Captain Falcon did to me back then? I asked Purple, and he said didn't know as he didn't personally witness the event..." Then he slowly raised his head to look up at the ceiling, and then he thought "Such a miraculous event... could it be the work of Arceus Himself...?” Then he lowered his head again while closing his eyes, and thought “Well, in any case, I guess there’s no use wondering about that right now. What I should be focusing on is my mission of collecting that Orb of Space from the Snowpoint Temple. I wonder what it will be like going there… I heard that travelling along Routes 216 and 217 is quite tough…” Just then, he heard a news report coming from the Pokémon Center’s television:
“Following the recent disappearances of four Pokémon Professors around the world, the greatest Pokémon Researcher of Sinnoh, Professor Rowan, specializing in the study of Pokémon evolution, was found missing this morning as well.” The news reporter said, and then Black immediately opened his eyes and turned his attention to the television! “With the disappearance of Professor Rowan, this marks the fifth Pokémon researcher to have mysteriously disappeared over the past two days.” The news reporter then continued, and then Black widened his eyes and gasped as he heard that! Then he noticed two men who were standing close to the television and watching the broadcast while talking with each other.
“Professor Rowan disappeared?! Just what the hell is going on?!” one of the men then said to the other. “Someone must be plotting something, if the most famous Professors of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Unova… and now Sinnoh, have all become missing over the space of two days. Either that, or the Professors themselves may be up to something among themselves, that they don’t want the rest of the world to know…” the other man replied then, and then Black displayed a shocked expression on his face as he heard that!
“Prof… the most famous Professor of Kanto is missing?!” Black then suddenly stood up from the couch and shouted in fear at the two men who were talking, interrupting their conversation, and then the two men turned to face Black. “You mean… Professor Oak?!!” Black continued, looking and sounding extremely worried!
“Yeah, haven’t you been paying attention to the news? Over the last two days, Professor Oak, Professor Elm, Professor Birch and Professor Juniper have all mysteriously disappeared without a trace.” one of the men said, and then Black widened his eyes even more while a drop of sweat ran down his forehead as he heard that, as he struggled to take in what he was hearing! “Not only that, but there’s absolutely no suspects so far either, considering the alleged kidnappings all occurred in different regions. I suspect that this must be the work of some kind of criminal organization…” the man continued.
“Professor Oak was last seen in the Pokémon Center of Blot City in the Souther Region, at around the same time as when Captain Falcon murdered Antony there.” the other man then said, and then Black, overcome with fear and despair, suddenly shouted “GRANDPA!!!!!!!!” in an extremely loud voice while having an absolutely insane look in his eyes, catching the attention of everyone in the Pokémon Center, as he quickly pulled out a black mobile phone with his right hand and began rapidly and maniacally dialling a number! After he finished dialling, he placed the phone to his right ear and began waiting for his call to be answered, while breathing heavily, as his entire face was also sweating heavily! In the meantime, he looked at the television, on which the news reporter was still giving his report.
“The victim was last seen in his laboratory in Sandgem Town last night. While his disappearance along with that of the four Professors before him is nothing short of shocking news, this incident also serves to give us some insight regarding the culprit behind not only this event, but also the disappearance of the other four Pokémon Professors.” said the news reporter, and then the television screen changed to show a scene of some police officers in Sandgem Town, talking to some white labcoat-dressed Pokémon researchers, who appeared to be heavily injured, and had bandages all over their bodies. “According to Professor Rowan’s assistants, the culprits behind the Professor’s kidnapping were a man and a woman dressed in uniform with the letters “LFS” on them, who broke into Professor Rowan’s laboratory at around 3am last night. They called themselves members of an organization known as “Les Falcons Satanique,” and were after information on the location of the Azure Flute, a legendary item described in Sinnoh mythology as a key that is capable of unlocking the stairs to the Hall of Origin, the place where the Legendary Pokémon Arceus is said to reside.” The news reporter’s voice then continued in the background.
“Damn you, Les Falcons Satanique!!!!!!!” Black then said angrily with his head slightly lowered while clenching his teeth together and displaying an extremely furious look in his eyes!
“Professor Rowan’s assistants claimed that when Professor Rowan refused to reveal any information regarding the Azure Flute, the alleged “Les Falcons Satanique” members forcefully kidnapped him. The assistants tried to resist, but their Pokémon were no match for that of the kidnappers, which, the assistants claimed, were a Pelipper and a Fearow. After the “Les Falcons Satanique”’s Pokémon overcame those of Professor Rowan’s assistants, the assistants themselves received several bullets to their bodies from firearms carried by the criminals, before, as one of the assistants claimed, the two criminals escaped with Professor Rowan, with what appeared to be F-Zero machines.” the news reporter’s voice then continued, before the television screen displayed the news reporter again. “In addition to knowing the potential name of the criminal organization behind the recent kidnappings, police is currently also investigating a likely link between the ones responsible for said kidnappings, and the F-Zero Pilot 07 - Captain Douglas Jay Falcon, the man who murdered Antony in the Pokémon Center in Blot City of the Souther Region. According to Professor Rowan’s assistants, the man responsible for the kidnapping was dressed in an outfit strongly resembling that of Captain Falcon himself, complete with the helmet. This, combined with the name of Les Falcons Satanique itself, as well as the fact that at least two of their members allegedly piloted F-Zero machines…” the news reporter then continued. Just then, Black narrowed his eyes as his call appeared to have reached the person he was calling.
Meanwhile, Krotenius was still sitting on his throne, with the left side of his face leaning against his left fist like before, and placed on the small desk to his left were five mobile phones.
"GRRAAAAAARRGHHH!!!!!!!!" as the mysterious man was relaxing on his throne amidst the darkness of the room, the excruciatingly painful screams of the people tied to a pole in front of Krotenius, with the exception of Professor Oak, were heard, as the Charizard, Salamence, Garchomp and Hydreigon were slowly eating away their flesh, with one of those dragons each feasting upon one of the four victims! Then suddenly, one of the mobile phones on the desk to Krotenius's left, which was gray in color, began ringing with a
catchy ringtone! Professor Oak then gasped as he heard that!
"Hm?" Krotenius then said as he slightly turned his head just enough to look down at the ringing mobile phone with the corner of his left eye, before picking up that phone with his left hand and then looking at its screen, which displayed that the name of the owner of the phone that was currently calling him was "BLACK"! As he did that, some light coming out of the mobile phone's screen shined upon his face, illuminating it just enough to reveal his calm and thoughtful-looking purple eyes!
"Black?" Krotenius then thought, before raising his eyes to look at the Charizard, Salamence, Garchomp and Hydreigon before him, which were still eating their victims' flesh. "Charizard, Salamence, Garchomp, Hydreigon. Please stop for a while." Krotenius then said, and then those four Pokémon all stopped temporarily stopped eating their meals, though the four people's eerie and extremely painful screams still persisted. Then Krotenius looked at the five Les Falcons Satanique Grunts who were standing before him in his throne room and said "Cover their mouths."
"Yes, my lord!" the Grunts then said together in sync, before they each walked up to one of the five people tied to a pole and covered their mouths with their hands, blocking their screams!
"Hello?" Krotenius then said as he placed the gray mobile phone he was holding up to his left ear.
At that moment, back in Sunyshore City's Pokémon Center, Black, who was driven to the edge of despair, said "Gra-Wh-Who is this?!" into his mobile phone.
Back in Krotenius's throne room, Krotenius said "I am a police officer, in possession of Professor Samuel Oak's cellphone, which we found in his home in Blot City after his recent kidnapping. Who may you be?"
"I am Black, Professor Oak's grandson! Where is my grandpa?!" Black then told Krotenius through the phone.
"Black... so he's still alive... meaning Falcon failed to kill him once again?! Hmph... but all's well..." Krotenius then thought to himself while narrowing his eyes slightly and thoughtfully.
"Well, we're currently still investigating. But we believe that you may hold some information that will be vital for our investigation. As such, I would first like to know your current location, Black." Krotenius then said through the phone, and immediately as he mentioned Black's name, Professor Oak suddenly tried to scream, without success though, as his mouth was currently covered.
"I..." Black then began to speak, but then he narrowed his eyes a bit and forcefully stopped himself before he could continue.
"Wait... this could be a trap... Les Falcons Satanique is the group that captured grandpa... and they're also the group that's after me! In retrospect, I shouldn't have even told him my name... if I tell him my location, and he's really not a police officer, but a Les Falcons Satanique member, then..." Black then thought to himself.
"Well?" Krotenius then said calmly.
"Wait!" Black then said.
"Hm?" Krotenius responded.
"First, can you
prove that you're
really a police officer?" Black then questioned Krotenius suspiciously.
"Heh... well... I guess you're smart." Krotenius then said.
"What?" said Black then, narrowing his eyes a bit in confusion.
"The answer to your question is... no." Krotenius said.
"What?!" Black responded then, sounding a bit frustrated and impatient.
"At this point, I guess there's no use hiding it. Allow me to introduce myself to you then, Black Bobbyborn." Krotenius then said, and then Black widened his eyes and gasped as he heard that! "To be honest, I must say that the fact that you managed to continue surviving even up to this point... is rather commendable." Krotenius continued. Then, at that very moment, some clouds which were previously covering the Sun outside of Krotenius's throne room moved in such a way that they revealed the radiant Sun whose light they had previously blocked! As that happened, the Sun's intense rays shined straight into Krotenius's throne room through a large, colorful window resembling that of a church, located on the wall of the room opposite to Krotenius's throne! As the sunlight entered the throne room, the darkness that previously engulfed most of the room faded away, and the various beings that were currently located in the throne room could be seen as silhouettes no more! From Krotenius's right to his left, the five people who were each tied to a pole in the throne room were: Professor Oak; a slender man with short brown hair, black eyes, and wearing glasses, a white labcoat, a dark green shirt, a black belt, light green pants and brown shoes; a large man with short, dark brown hair, black eyes, a short beard that covered his entire chin, and wearing a white labcoat, a dark blue shirt, a black belt, olive shorts and dark brown shoes; an old man with short, spiky white hair that covered the sides of his face,black eyes, a moustache, and wearing a brown coat, a blue vest, a white undershirt, black pants and brown boots; and a young woman with long and well-groomed light brown hair, green eyes, and wearing two red earrings, a white labcoat, a white tanktop, a short green skirt and red and white shoes. Currently, the three male Les Falcons Satanique Grunts were covering the mouths of the three people to Krotenius's left, while the two female Les Falcons Satanique Grunts were covering the mouths of the two people to Krotenius's right, and all the people tied to the poles, with the exception of Professor Oak, also had blood and bite mark-shaped wounds all over their bodies as well as some parts of their clothes and flesh missing, while a large amount of blood was also rapidly pouring out of their wounds, painting the ground below them red! Also, the sunlight that had entered the room revealed that that the Charizard in the room was shiny, although the other three Pokémon were of their normal color, and the four dragons each had blood and saliva leaking out of their mouths, indicating that they all found the taste of human flesh to be exceedingly delicious!
And addition to that, the sunlight entering the room revealed that the walls, ceiling, pillars and floor of Krotenius's throne room were of a brilliant gold color, with many highly-decorated pots which were white and light blue in color being placed on the ground along the walls of the room, while a long, red carpet led from Krotenius's throne to a large, silver double door with an elegant carving of a Chinese dragon on it, located at the opposite end of the throne room. The sunlight also revealed the appearances of the twelve people remaining people in the room besides Krotenius himself!
The silhoutte of the man with the flat hat was revealed to be a man with pale white skin, wearing a dark blue flat hat, a dark blue blazer with a golden falcon-shaped symbol emblazed on the pocket that was in front of the left side of his blazer's front, a white buttoned-up shirt, a crimson tie, dark blue trousers, a black belt, and black leather shoes, but by far his most bizarre and distinct feature was the fact that his face was completely white, as he had no eyes, ears, mouth or nose whatsoever! The man with earrings had blond hair, a large moustache, golden eyes, tanned skin, golden earings each with a golden falcon-shaped part attached underneath, wearing a pink tanktop with many red "X"s all over it, purple baggy pants with a picture of a bannana at the location above where his crotch was, and light blue slippers, and he also had a rather bored look on his face, and carried a black heavy machinegun behind his back, attached to two brown straps that he wore over his shoulders, and those two straps formed an "X" with each other. The full-figured woman was revealed to have unusually thick lips, dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, dark skin, black shoes, the entirety of her skin-tight suit was bright yellow, her pistols were black and silver, her shotgun was black, and she was also revealed to be wearing a black belt with a golden falcon-shaped belt buckle. This woman also had a rather confident look on her face. The man with glasses was an Asian man with black hair, black eyes, black-framed glasses, and wearing a white labcoat, white trousers, pink and gray sneakers, and he was wearing a brown belt with a golden falcon-shaped belt buckle, as well as three Poké Balls attached to the left side of his belt and three Poké Balls attached to the right side of his belt. He also had had a slight, smug smile on his face. The man standing to the left of the Asian man was a quite tall gentleman with well-groomed brown hair, blood-red eyes, pale white skin, dead gray lips with a pair of vampire fangs visible, and wearing a large and long black cape that was blood-red on the inside and had huge, raised collars at the top, a black shirt with a metallic golden falcon symbol attached just below the neck, black trousers, and a pair of large gray boots with blood-red skull-like designs on them. As the sunlight reached his eyes, this person quietly said "Ugh!" as he immediately closed his eyes and turned his face away from the direction of the light, as if flinching from the very presence of the light itself! And the person to the left of that man was a medium-height and light-skinned teenage boy with a very youthful and feminine face as well as a very slender body, violet eyes, and green eyebrows and long eyelashes, but had extremely long vines instead of hair growing out of his head! The innumerable incredibly long vines that grew out of his head were wrapped extremely tightly around his entire upper body, covering it and serving as a substitute for a shirt, to the point where none of the skin of his upper body could be seen. However, the vines growing out of his head did not cover any part of his body from his upper thighs down, and this, combined with the fact that he was not visibly wearing any sort of clothing or shoes, revealed his slender legs as well as his feet, whose toenails were painted in a bright, shiny violet color. This boy currently had his arms wrapped up in the vines that covering his entire upper body, while he had a happy and playful smile on his face.
The man standing closest to Krotenius's right was a tall man with short brown hair, a moustache and a small beard, and wearing brown robes, a sand-colored shirt and sand-colored pants beneath those robes, as well as a pair of heavy black boots. He also wore a black belt with a golden falcon-shaped belt buckle, three Poké Balls attached to the left side of his belt, three Poké Balls attached to the right side of his belt, and he also had two relatively short, yet sheaths attached to his belt, one on each side, and placed within his two sheaths were two silver-hilted blades. This man currently stood up straight with his arms down his sides and had a serious look on his face.The teenage girl had pink hair, a golden falcon-shaped hair pin on the right side of her hair, large orange eyes, and she had a white top, white sleeves, a red skirt, white socks with a few red stripes at the top, white boots, and her longsword had a white hilt and a red sheath, and this girl had a rather serious look on her face. The old woman standing next to the pink-haired girl had her head covered in a cloth hood with which was decorated entirely with many colorful flower patterns, but some of her gray hair were visible above her old, wrinkled face. She had gray eyes, and was wearing a dark gray shirt, an old white dress, and a golden collar around her left wrist with a golden chain attached to that collar and the other end of the chain attached to a metallic golden falcon-like symbol, The woman was supporting herself on a brown, wooden walking stick, and she had a rather thoughtful look in her old eyes. The man with the mohawk had crimson hair, brown eyes, relatively light skin, blue shorts, red boxing gloves each with a golden falcon-shaped symbol on the back of the palm, as well as white and yellow sneakers, and had a bored look on his face. The gigantic, gorilla-like man had tanned skin, black collars around his wrists which each had six silver spikes coming out of them, and was wearing a dark gray sleeveless shirt with a massive golden falcon-shaped symbol on the back, a pair of golden shorts, and large brown boots, and he also had a perpetual insane evil smile on his face, which revealed his huge white teeth, including his unusually-sharp canine teeth! And finally, the slender woman who had hair covering all four sides of her face, had black hair that was for some reasons wet, dressed in old, dirty, wet and torn white robes, lifeless-looking pale white skin, and dirty hands and feet which were, for some reasons, bleeding and completely lacking of fingernails or toenails.
Now, the only part of the throne room that was still covered in shadows was Krotenius's throne as well as the man currently sitting on it, but as the sunlight entering the room through the window became brighter and brighter, even the aforementioned darkness began to disperse!
"My name is Krotenius Ryuujintensei..." Krotenius then told Black through the phone, and just as he did that, the sunlight entering the room shined upon Krotenius's body, finally revealing his true appearance!

Krotenius was a surprisingly young man of medium height with a youthful face and a rather slender buld, medium-length spiky white hair, a calm and thoughtful look in his pair of purple eyes, and wearing a dark blue hooded jacket with the hood currently down, a white shirt with a golden Chinese dragon at the front, baggy light gray tracksuit pants, and black and blue sneakers, and he also had a sheathed katana placed against the left side of his throne! That katana had a blue hilt with some silver metal covering the bottom of the hilt, an elegant carving of a dragon's head on that silver metal, and a hexagon-shaped guard made of silver metal with four trapezium-shaped holes in the guard surrounding its center, while the katana's sheath was almost entirely blue, with some silver metal at the top of the sheath and an elegant Chinese dragon carved on that silver metal, as well as the Chinese characters "義," "完" and "谐" carved vertically in sand color on the sheath itself, from top to bottom.
"...the leader of Les Falcons Satanique." Krotenius then continued, while having a proud, confident, and slightly excited smile on his face!
"!!" Black then thought as he immediately widened his eyes in extreme shock, fear and surprise upon that revelation! "You bastard! WHERE THE HELL IS MY GRANDPA!" Black then shouted incredibly loudly with insane indignation clear in his voice and eyes, and in the process once more capturing the attention of everyone else in Sunyshore City's Pokémon Center!
"Ssh." Krotenius then said with a smile while placing his right index finger vertically in front of his lips.
"What!" Black then said, sounding irritated.
"Do not raise your voice, Chosen Hero of the Alpha Pokémon." Krotenius then said, and Black gasped as he heard that! "As common sense would tell you... he is currently with us. He is not harmed, and I can allow you to speak with him to confirm." Krotenius continued.
"Get grandpa on the phone! NOW!" Black then screamed angrily. As he heard that, Krotenius smiled as he slowly ascended from his throne, before walking down some stairs in front of his throne, towards Professor Oak.
As he reached Professor Oak, Krotenius put the phone next to the old man's right ear, while the Grunt who was covering the Professor's mouth moved his hand away.
"Black!!" Professor Oak then said loudly with his eyes widened.
"Grandpa! Are you okay, grandpa? Are you hurt? Where are you right now?!" Black then asked, sounding extremely worried.
"I'm alright! I appear to be inside Les Falcons Satanique’s headquarters right now! What about you, Black? Where are you?” Professor Oak then said.
“I... well, let’s say I’m somewhere safe. I can’t tell you exactly where I am right now because Les Falcons Satanique is also after me!” Black answered.
“What?! They’re after you?! Why?!!” Professor Oak then asked with much concern in his voice.
“I... I don’t know either! I...” said Black, but before he could continue, Krotenius took the phone off Professor Oak’s ear, and then Professor Oak gasped as he turned to face Krotenius!
“Because he is one of the two obstacles standing between this world and peace. The other is, of course, the mystery behind the location of the Azure Flute.” Krotenius then said to Professor Oak, before turning around to walk back to his throne, while raising the mobile phone he was holding up to his left ear.
“What are you talking about?! Krotenius... just what are you trying to achieve?!” Professor Oak then said angrily as he looked at the back of Krotenius, who was currently walking away from him, but Krotenius ignored him, and instead clicked his right hand, signalling the Grunt who was covering Professor Oak’s mouth before to cover his mouth again, preventing him from saying anything more!
“Grandpa? GRANDPA!!!!!!!!” Black then shouted through his phone.
“I guess that was enough for you to confirm that he’s safe, right?” Krotenius then said to Black, while still slowly approaching his throne.
“Dammit! Release him, along with all the other Professors you kidnapped!” Black then ordered Krotenius in a strict and completely dead-serious tone!
“I will, under one condition...” said Krotenius, and then Black widened his eyes and gasped as he heard that! “...that you sacrifice yourself in their place.” Krotenius then continued, with a slight smile on his face, whose right side was still enlightened by the sunlight entering the room through the window, while the left side of his face was completely covered in the shadows of the relatively dark room!
