    Early 1999: first saw Smash Bros.; disturbed that Mario was kicking Pikachu in the face, thought Game was stupid
    Mid-1999: played the game at a friend's house as PIKACHU, enjoyed it, but sucked.
    Mid-1999: played game as JIGGLYPUFF, learned PIKACHU's downB and B.
    2000: moved, cutting me off from Smash Bros for a while
    2001: Heard about Super Smash Bros. Melee being released
    Mid-2004: played SSBM for first time as PIKACHU, then MR. GAME & WATCH, then KIRBY, then SAMUS. PIKACHU was good, KIRBY sucked, SAMUS was pretty decent, and G&W was... okay.
    Very Late 2005: tried Marth for first time-did well.
    Very Late 2005: Heard rumors of a Super Smash Bros. Revolution, wanted to get it ASAP
    Early 2006: the firend I borrowed the game from took his game back, cutting me off for a while
    May 2006: Smash Bros Revo revealed to Smash Bros Brawl; was ecstatic to see Wario and Pit appear
    June 2006: Borrowed the game again; played as FALCO and loved him too.
    July 2006: played as ZELDA and kicked but
    Late July 2006: Bought my own copy of the game; played and played
    January 2007: my birthday, kept playing
    March 10, 2007: got the Wii, played exponential amounts
    May,June, or July 2007: plan on buying Smash Bros. Brawl
    Until Then: plan on finding out as much as possible about Brawl
