~The Other Side of the Story~

Once upon a time, like every other fairy tale, there was once an enchanted kingdom. This kingdom was like no other, it was filled with riches galore. You saw not one homeless man when you walked the streets to get your daily milk and sugar. With a beautiful enchanted kingdom there was a beautiful Princess. The Princess lived with the King and Queen in a huge castle, rumored to have even more riches. This kingdom was hidden from all dangers and all darkness. No one in the village dare to leave all its wonders.

One day the princess grew very bored and decided to wonder around town. She walked through meat shops, book shops, and regular stands out side of homes. The princess looked up to the sky and began to think. I’ve seen my kingdom and all its worth many, many times. I wonder what other kingdoms are like. Curious she became. Hurrying back to the castle she told her thoughts to her father and mother. NO! You may not leave this kingdom! They told her over and over again. Filled with sadness the Princess ran to her room and locked the door. She wept until night fall. A light flicker into her head. I will run away and come back. I’ll tell everyone of the other kingdoms riches! Oh how happy they will be when I return!

As soon it was pitch black outside and only the stars were a source of light she flung her sheets over the window and climbed down. With a small thud she landed on the ground safely. Escaping through the gate she was filled with delight and excitement. Days turned into weeks and the Princess soon realized how the world really was. This, of course, made the Princess very worried for when she told of her kingdom no one believed her! That was the first time she didn’t have a comfy feather bed to sleep in.

Back at the enchanted kingdom chaos was everywhere! Everyone was searching for the Princess! But she was no where to be found.
