Mega Man Battle Network 4: Blue Moon User Reviews

Best one in the series

The good:

There are so many things I can and will put it. I want to tell everyone who is reading this; forget the other scores and such, this game is the best one is the Battle network seres. Here are a few reasons why:
-More Chips
-New graphics
-DoublSoul
-DarkChips
-Long story
-Good bosses
-e-reader compatible
There are many new things to this game. The biggest improvement is the doublsoul. It lets you fuse with another soul that you met. Its really useful and you need to sacrifice a chip to get it.

The bad:

Not much to do here. The only negatives to this game don't really bring it down at all. Here are the only downsides:
-When you use a dark chip, you heath permanently goes down by 1.
-1 save file
Not much, only a few factors that effect the game to me.

Summary:

Megaman is an program installed on a PET, he is one of the main characters along with Lan, his owner. The seres started in 2001 with battle network. Unfortunately, the seres went on to its 6th and final game in 2006. This one came out in 2004, and its the best one yet. This game features a double soul in which you may join with another soul that you met. It was one of the major improvments from the other games.
Im going to categorize this review into some sections so you dont need to read the whole thing in order to find what you are looking for.

The above video is an intro to the game.

The multiplayer system has been updated so you can save your friends profile and batle them.
There are loads of program advances to learn.
And some secret chips to get.
There are many people to batle you will always get a batle just jack in and fight.
The program advances can be hard to learn but rewarding when yuo figure one out.
Once you complte this you will get to play the other version to get another 3 souls.

A Slight Dissapointment

The good:

-Soul Unison
-Ability To Fight Normal Navis
-New Navi Customizer Programs and Combos
-Dark Chips

The bad:

-Kind Of Short Storyline
-Graphics
-No continuation of Bass
-Final Boss Too Much Like Last One
-Only One Unison At A Time

Summary:

I wasn't too happy about the cartoony graphics they used in this game. I prefered the more realistic graphics they used in MMBN 2 and 3.

As for the story line, it just seemed a bit short compared to the last Megaman Battle Network games.

I couldn't help but notice that the final boss, Duo, is much like Alpha, the final boss in the last game. This made it seem a bit like you were playing the same game, but it turned out to be good.

I did like the Soul Unison. It just seemed to throw out a little something different than just normal style changes since that would have gotten old soon. Thi...

This Game Rocks!!!

The good:

Everything

The bad:

Nothing

Summary:

This game is the best game i've ever played on my GBA. It has a TON of replay value, and is just really fun. I'd recommend everyone who has ever played a mega man battle network game to buy this and play it to the end. So the game stays challenging, after every time you beat it, the enemies get tougher. You can't just beat this game one play through either because you can't even get a lot of good things on one play through. I give this game two thumbs WAY UP! Also, since there are two games, the both have very different missions that are extremely fun and challenging. The souls system is gr...

Blue Moon Madness

The good:

The newest installment of the Battle network is amazing beyond anything I could possibly imagine. For one thing, there is a new villain. The Dark Chip Nebula Crime Syndicate. Also, the storyline is great. There are new Navis, such as Aquaman, Topman and Shademan. The new battle system, Full Synchro, is very different and can even have an entire strategy based on its powerful new efects. The Soul Unison system was well made, though I a soul only lasts 3 turns, you can have more than one. (Not at a time of course)

Also, in this version and this version ONLY, Protoman is in it.

The bad:

Although this game features many new Navis, You will NOT be able to go up against long time rival/partner Gutsman, who is only available in Red Sun, along with Roll. Both have thier own Styles. Besides for some things that are always in the games that have been split up into the two different versions, I see no problems. Wait. You cant Add chips anymore, but that doesnt really matter, espescially for those who favoed Custom Style in previous games.

Summary:

First, Ill go into a bit more on the Full Syncro System. In this, Megaman is linked to emotions which effect battle. He can be Normal, Angry, Worried, in Full Syncro, or, DARK. Remember in Battle network 3 when you beat an enemy right before it attacked? Well, now when you do that, even if the enemy doesnt become deleted, Full Syncro is activated. In this mode, your next chip will do Double Damage (Use with a Program Advance, very good strategy!) and enemys blink right before they attack. After using an attacking chip, Full Syncro deactivates unless you reactivated it when you hit the last ...
