Mario Strikers Charged review
Hands Down The Best Multiplayer on the Wii

The good:

-Great Wi-Fi Online Multiplayer
-A fun single player experience
-Tons of unlockable stages, characters and stadium altering "cheats"
-Some of the Best Graphics on the Wii

The bad:

-Many players disconnect on you in Wi-Fi
-The Music is nothing to write home about
-Once you unlock everything, the single player experience becomes dull

Mario Strikers Charged is a soccer based game and is
the sequel to Super Mario Strikers for gamecube.
A wide array of characters and sidekicks make a total of 515 different teams for you to play as, and responsive controls with the wii-mote makes the experience very fun. Games go by fast, and making a comeback is easy with the new mega-strike feature, allowing up to six goals at once. A wide array of items adds a touch of chaos to the game, but can become frustrating when an item was the only thing stoping you from preventing the opponent from scoring
a goal.

The single player offers 3 different cups for you to obtain, but you will certantly want to revisit them to unlock the 2 extra trophies. A set of 12 challenge missions rounds out the single player experience. Once you honed your skills in single player, it's time to show the world with online multiplayer. When you log on, you can play with a random opponent of similar skill level, or a customized match with a friend. Unfortunatly, lag does become an issue sometimes, and most players use techneques frowned upon, such as hammer spamming. Thus, learning to counter such techniques is a must. In addition, many players tend to disconnect when they are losing, which can ruin the experience somewhat. However, the Wi-Fi is the signature reasion to get this game, and is definatly a rewarding experience for any mario or soccer fan, and trying to go up in the season rankings is surprisingly addictive.

The graphics in this game are amazing- the sprites move at a good pace and the megastrike animations are fun to watch. Every stadium has it's own gimmicks and theme, which is perfectly detialed to set the theme. Unfortunatly, The music is not so great, with only one catchy tune from galatic stadium. Some stadiums
even lack music completely! The sound effects are ok, but can become annoying sometimes. However, the gameplay and graphics both make up for this.

Overall, Great graphics and online play makes Mario Strikers Charged one of the best Wii games currently on the market, but certantly not the best.
The multiplayer experience is great, but the single player can get dull, so if you do not have access to Wi-Fi or friends to play with, I highly advise against buying this game. On the contrary, if you do have Wi-Fi, than I can guarantee a Memorable experience with this game.
