Have you ever been sitting at home, wondering what you could possible do to pass the time? All your friends are busy, so you can’t hang out with them. You have no paint in the shed, so you can’t throw it on your bedroom wall and watch it dry. Furthermore, your backyard is plagued with dirty sand, making it impossible to watch the grass grow. Fortunately, a solution was invented in 2004 by a bunch of Japanese nerds who were stuck indoors suffering from the same problem outlined above. This solution is called Magna Carta: Tears of Blood, and for about $50, you’ll never have to worry about bei...
The battle system rocks, the artwork is beautiful, the story is complex and intricate... what more could you wantThe bad:
It's alot more difficult to level up by just looking for random battles.Summary:
I can't believe how much fun I am having with this game. The characters each have such unique and three dimensional personalities (well, except for Maybe Azel). You really start to identify with Calintz.
The story is well-written and is always throwing in surprises. The characters talk like real people. sometimes I am very surprised at what they say. on both sides, the characters follow their leader faithfully, however, they are also loyal to their own agendas. It's good to see a game where everything isn't always 'perfect'. the battles also require thinking ahead and a closeness to your tea...
Interesting battle system
Horrible main character (He's looks like a transsexual)
The battle system has many flaws
Long and boring loading times, both in battles and towns and dungeons
Horrible fixed camera
Most of the people were waiting Magna Carta to be the RPG of 2005, but this is just another RPG.
The CG movies are well designed and animated, you can enjoy the landscape in most of the dungeon, and the towns seem lively. Still they could be better, the character and NPC resolution is not good sometimes it remind me some RPG for PSX, that's why I consider them average.
In battle the animation are good and move smoothly, the special effects of the attacks and magic aren't incredible but they aren't bad either. The monster design it's not good I found most of them lame and rushed.
