Game Info
Twelve Elemental Spirits laboured to create the land of Mistralis and then took to the Great Tower so that they may oversee their people. Balasar, the Spirit of the Sun and Moon, thought himself as superior and sought to rule the land as a god. To protect their people the other spirits crafted a spirit stone and sealed him inside, although the battle also caused Enril, the Wind Spirit, to be trapped with him.
However, the stone contained a weakness, and over time Balasar worked on this weakness until the stone shattered, freeing him from his prison. Breaking fre weakened him though, so he withdraw to regain his strength.
Enril was still sealed inside the stone, now scattered around the land as seven fragments. A twist of fate causes a young boy called Toku to find one of these shards and learn of the perilous situation. They must now journey together to restore Enril's power, contact the other spirits and save Mistralis.
LostWinds plays out much like a side-on platformer game. You control Toku, the protagonist, with the control stick on the Nunchuk. To control Enril, the wind spirit, you must point with the Wii Remote and press A to cause a strong gust of wind. As you progress through the story Enril's powers go stronger, thus allowing you to raise Toku further in the air and better influence water and fire. To defeat enemies you must use wind power and blow them into rocks and other objects until they dissipate.
