Lineage: The Blood Pledge User Reviews

6.0

Lineage Through the eyes of a experienced player (long review, but bear with me here.)

The good:

Low system requirements, Siege/War/PK system, magic system, simplicity, free updates, free client download

The bad:

bot users, some people general assholes, server crashes (rare, but it happens)

Summary:

I've played Lineage for 3 years now, dont trust the reveiw of those NOOBS who only tried it out on the 5 day trial. The same gender of each class does look the same, but that makes it easy to determine one's class.
It also prevents people from knowing what you possess, which is relativly good. The Siege system allows you to take over castles and then you control the taxes over the towns that is under the castles control. If you raise your taxes too high, people might break into your castle and kill your pledge. There are currently 3 servers (Lands of Aden being the best) and 5 character c...

Ugly game made for a 486

The good:

Nothing

The bad:

Incredibly, incredibly boring battle system, magic system, and monotoneous everything else.

Summary:

Graphics: Well, I can quite honestly say that I've seen the super nintendo put out graphics light years better. The game moves soooooooooooooo slow, each time you take a step the character you play will have 1 frame to symbolize it's movement. I've never played a game that moves quite as sluggishly as this game does even at a normal speed the game was intended to run at. Everyone class looks EXACTLY THE SAME AS ANOTHER WITH THE SAME CLASS. If you wear the type of weapon, the characters ARE identical.

Control: Point and click. It's a tribute/ripoff of Diablo. Like many other Diablo clones, t...

Lineage

The good:

Everything in it is good, Excellent gameplay, differnt servers, differnt classes, lots of weopons and items.

The bad:

15 bucks a month...

Summary:

This is the best game out there (mmorph I mean) I havent played number two yet but it looks even more kick butt. Preety hard to level up if your a noob (atleast it was for me... i never got past level 10 on normal server) there is,, or was atleast a test server... test server had everything that normal had but it was easier to level up and items were easier to come by... sweeeeeeeeeeeeet.

Lineage: The Blood Pledge

Summary:

This is a great community oriented game that takes alot of time, but can be well worth the work put into it. after playing almost a year, i must say that the ever-changing environment and the different options for interacting with the environment make this game fun for most people in their teens and up. the graphics aren't anything to go yelling about, but the overall play makes up for that if you aren't looking for a game with a set ending and a short plot.

Lineage: The Blood Pledge

The good:

The good thing about this game is how you can siege castles and take over them. As a prince you get a chance to lvl up get money and ask people to join your pledge. As your pledge develops your army gets bigger and stronger making you the KING. The game is good =)

The bad:

The bad thing is there are only 4 classes it would be better if there were at least 6 or so.

Summary:

Overall I think that this game is great because its exciting once your a higher lvl. Items are priced by the players not the game and you can select taxes in your city if your the KING. I like this game alot I'm lvl 46 and have -43 ac which is very good. I have played Lineage at least 3 months and am not bored of it because of the castles and sieges =) right now my pledge owns Orc Fortress 7/8/2001 =)!!!!!!!!

Addicting game

The good:

Free client download; low system requirements; nice graphics; addicting game play; multiple character types to choose from; ongoing story line; bloodpledges can take control of a castle and must fight to keep control.

The bad:

Limited audio; must advance many levels before you can take on larger creatures; not many trade skills; limited documentation; not available for sale in retail stores.

Summary:

Lineage is either going to be a game that you love, or it's just not for you. Lineage comes with a 5 day free trial period. This time is plenty to see if it fits what you're looking for in a game. I rather enjoy the fact that the character's avatar looks similar to other characters in the same class as yours. It lets you instantly tell if someone is an Elf, Fighter, Wizard, or Prince. Lineage is derived from a popular Korean comic book, and the storyline progresses every few months with new "Chapters". These Chapters contain new game content, bug fixes, and storyline advancement.
