Lego Alpha Team review
Great game for small (and large) kids
Good problem solving gameThe bad:
Occasionally falls overSummary:
Nice variety of problems to solve. It's addictive in so much as half way through solving one of the problems and you say to yourself, "I'll go to bed after this one", but you (nearly) always end up going onto the next problem :-)
My six year old son finds it fantastic to use (along with LEGO Rock Raiders). He loves the problems solving and the animation, however the games occasionally falls over which is frustrating him quite a bit.
The graphics are good quality, especially in 1280 * 960 mode, and the sound is non-intrusive. Manipulating the camera is a little difficult to get to grips with (but is only a minor point).
The only reason why I'm not giving this game a "5.0" is due to the games occasionally falling over, however this is a relatively minor inconvenience compared to quality of the games, especially as, after falling over and re-entering the game you only have to start again on the level you were in.
