Lego Star Wars for GBA: This Lego Star Wars right for you?

Summary:

Lego Star Wars for the Gameboy Advance. This game is a very good 3D Action Adventure game, which has lots of replay value and other great points about the little cartridge.

The game has lots of playable characters, unlockable in the career mode. They range from the puppets, to wookies, to Jedis (yes, that’s right, you can play as real Jedi, with lightsabers, just like you could in the other Star Wars games).
Characters like Padmé have lasers, whereas other characters, like Jar Jar Binks, have the pulse balls, which you can throw at enemies.
Different characters are needed for their skills to d...

One of the best Star Wars games ever!

The good:

- Excellent graphics.
- Very accurate storyline.
- Play all of the characters from episodes 1, 2 and 3.
- 2 player co-op drop in/ drop out.
- Play all of the episodes.
- Funny cut-scenes.
- Lego makes the game much more enjoyable.
- Never gets old!

The bad:

- Not much speaking in the cut-scenes, it's just mainly mumbles and grunts.

Summary:

Lego Star Wars is a very enjoyable game, which never gets boring. You play through episodes 1, 2 and 3, using the Force to get through tricky obstacles, collecting Minikits and picking up Lego Studs as you go through. By collecting Minikits, you gradually build famous Star Wars vehicles. There are loads of things to buy with your Lego Studs, including characters and funny cheats. Each episode contains 5-6 levels inside, which tell the story very much like in the films, but in Lego! If you are a very skilled Jedi, then you will unlock a secret level. (I'm not giving out too much information,...

The most fun you'll ever have playing with Legos

The good:

Extremely unique concept. Simple, fun gameplay. Lots of unlockable content. Very high level of interactivity. You can play through Episodes 1, 2, and 3.

The bad:

Slightly sluggish controls. Very short. Low difficulty level. Only covers the prequel trilogy.

Summary:

One of the newest Star Wars games to hit consoles, Lego Star Wars takes a totally different take on the Star Wars prequel trilogy...not because you get to play as characters from the films, but you play in a world where virtually everything is made of Legos.

The graphics are simple but clean. Since everything looks like it is made entirely of Lego blocks, the characters & environments don't show a high level of detail, but it's good enough to look like a good representation of the Lego product. The frame rate is smooth but does suffer some slowdown when a lot of characters are together on sc...

A Force Field of Fun

The good:

  • Wide variety of characters
  • Simple yet creative gameplay
  • Cool Jedi moves
  • Great multiplayer fun

    The bad:

  • The missing dialogue can create confusion for those that don't follow the series
  • Could've lasted longer

    Summary:

Lego Star Wars takes you through Star Wars episodes I,II, and III, and allows you to control Jedi Knights and any other characters they may come in contact with. You'll fight your way through armies of droids and learn to use the Force within you to maneuver your way around any obstacles you might encounter.

After defeating and interatcing with certain characters, they will become unlocked and playable. You can then take them through Free Mode and have the most noble of Jedis fight alongside one of the many evil Counts.

Although the game isn't extremely long, the gameplay is constantly chan...

    Lego Star Wars

    The good:

Funny animations. Cool battles. Has all three episodes. AND DARTH VADER! Secret Episode. Cool models where you collect parts, to creat ship models. Play as 30 characters, even the bad guys. Good Graphics.

    The bad:

There is no interaction really. In other words they don't talk they point. I think there should have been text. There were no other lightsaber techniques, you just pushed square. (same thing with guns.)

    Summary:

I love this game. Even if this game is for young kids, it's still pretty fun for me. I think if they make another one (for 4,5,6) they should make it longer and harder. I really liked the levels where you could fly space ships, and star cruisers, they were really fun.
    Favorite characters
    Darth Maul
    General Grievous
    and of course DARTH VADER!
