Law & Order: Dead On the Money puts you on the case in the streets of Manhattan, first as detective and then as prosecutor, following the television drama's successful formula. From evidence-gathering and analysis to suspect-interrogation to courtroom suspense, Law & Order will keep the excitement high and the pressure on. The game features sophisticated content, maximum player control, realistic graphics, and multiple options at every turn.
The game is a point-&-click one and is divided in two parts. The first one is the investigation where you have to collect clues, analyze them by sending them to the lab, to ask questions to every person connected to the victim. You can also ask a surveillance report or a search one in order to find clues for advancing through. Once you get enough evidence for a search or an arrest warrant, you can ask it. The second part is the trial, where you have to do the same as in the investigation when you're not in the court. You will have to send convocations for your witness and eventually bring evidences for making your point stronger. You will have to object to any question from the defense that is controversial.
