Improved game mechanics, tons of extras and unlockables. A tutorial mode. The bad:
Bad voice acting, Somewhat Stindgey graphics. Bad Camera. Difficulty Maybe a little too hard for most gamers.Summary:
I'll keep it short.
Shinobi for the PS2 was a hard game, the difficulty wasn't in the game but the games mechanics. You see; In the second last level of shinobi you had to run along these walls parrallel to each other. Now this would be all fun in easy if this is all you had to do but no. While you are running along these walls. These Demons or "Hellspawn" appear and start blasting fire at you. Naturally you'll want to take them down with your sword. So, you double jump in the air and slash and dash and slash and dash and slash and dash killing all six hell spawn . Problem is though after yo...
Tight Controls, the system was very resposive. Music soundtrack, new stuff, smooth game play and low load times. The bad:
Its hard, even "easy" bosses can be hard unless you know what your doing.Summary:
This game is basicly just an upgrade of Shinobi. Some added moves which make it a bit harder to get used to, but over all the additions make it more fun and fast paced. You no longer have to use your sword to attack, you get kicks, short swords, and your throwing darts do some damage rather then just paralyzing. If you played Shinobi then you know what this is going to be like, it is hard, however its not as bad as everyone seems to think. The camera is not that bad if you know how to use it.
The hidden extras are nice, there are more ways to get the ones you want, points, beating the le...
Very Very Very challenging, new charactors & moves. New tate scenes and alotta fun stagesThe bad:
Seriously hard boss fights, the control is loose , and the camera doesn't do what u want it to do, plus the targeting system sometimes locks onto the wrong enemy, but thats becuase of the camera issues. THIS GAME IS FRUSTRATINGSummary:
This game is Very FRUSTRATING. If you hated Shinobi for its difficulty then you should avoid this one. The stages are alot easier then shinobi but the boss fights are hard as hell, to the point were you'll say every cuss word in every single combination possible to man.
Graphically its a small step up but its not pushing the ps2 to any limits, but the stages could use a bit more, because they are bland.
Overall its just another shinobi game, theres nothing ground breaking but its a small step foward which is good, but hopefully if there's a next installment, sega gets the job done correct thi...
