Games fall into one of four categories. Those which have story lines of Oscar-winning movies, but have bland, generic game play. Those which have awful game play, and a storyline to match. And those which have an epic story line, and epic, original game play. A rarity, is the fourth category. A game with quality game play, and a story line like a Spice Girls album.
But one of those rarities has popped along in the form of Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes. I picked this ...
--Awesome mix of RTS/Action and RPG elements.
--7 characters now instead of only 4 last time.
--Has a skirmish-type mode in which you can pick any main character from this game or "Crusaders" and set up the fight how you want including the enemy units.
--Not enough new units types.
--Enemy Hero units are over powered.
--Story is too dry and hard to follow.
A REALLY good, in depth game. An awesome mix of "Warcraft"-esque troop-controlling strategy, "Dynasty Warriors"-esque action and "Final Fantasy"-esque unit-leveling!!! All combine for a totally kicking-fun game, in which you can, for example, tell your archers to attack an infantry unit, send in a fleet of dragons to burn down your enemy's catapults, have a cavalry group charge at some archers, and attack another infantry unit with your Hero's unit (in which case it swtiches to action mode and you get to slice 'n dice enemy soldiers by controlling your main character!)
