Harry Potter, Good or Bad?

The good:

This is a fun game, and totally addictive too! I think it must have taken a long time to create. There are no glitches that I know of and that gives it and extra mark. There are a few bad points which I will relate later. I found it great that if you get 50 magic cards you unlock the firebolt, fastest racing broom ever! 03/01/05

The bad:

It is annoying how the other team seem to get a lot more special moves and combos than you, and they are really accurate when they launch bludgers at you. I have been knocked off my broom countless times by the opponents bludgers. Also, the graphics are only OK.

Summary:

Their faces are made to look like those in the film, and this seems to make the game easier, and it is less frustrating if you know who you are up against. Malfoy constantly sneers at you, which is reality, in the books and in the film. This is the best quidditch game I have ever played, and there are more than one.

Why not check out my user review of Halo 2, as I view that as a good game too. Many to you who reads this. Rock on!

Why Bother Making This Game If No Effort Is Put Into Making It

The good:

+ Playing Quidditch
+ Good number of teams

The bad:

- To and fro [ill explain in the summary]
- Lame game

Summary:

Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup could have had potential. But the game has been wasted and been made totally boring and it really is just boring but believe this or not despite being boring it can be addictive.

At first you take control of a house team and you have to go through training before you can start your matches. In training you just learn some useful things that will help you better in a match. Once you have one with your hourse team you unlock the nation teams and you can go onto the Quidditch World Cup with your nation. I have not won this cos its quite hard and i cant bored of ...

Harry Potter and the Quiddich World Cup

Summary:

I cas easily infer that this game was suggested and implemented to fill the gap between the next movie/game installment. It is not that bad, mainly focusing on the flying-sort of element. It made a worthy tide-over for the most poart, but as I have said many times, I'm not that fond of harry potter games. This game has managed to be a bit better, than the last two, certainly not as negative, raising my hopes for The Prisoner of Azkaban

Still believe all Harry Potter games are good?

The good:

It shares the graphics with the likes of Lord Of The Rings games. It's easy to control.

The bad:

It's an easy game that I hope it's successer will smash into the ground. It has soiled the title Harry Potter.

Summary:

The fact that Harry Potter is a massive title now helps this game a lot so did the fact that this a fictional, magical, extremely complicated game based on the fact they have simplified it by only letting you mainly play in one position. Although that seems nothing against the bad commentary, really, really bad foreign accents, same celebrations all the time and the unbelievebly flexable, accurate and acrobatic french team. So I suggest if you want to keep your sanity steer clear of the letter H in the gamecube section of your local video game store and pray to god that one day it will come...

Entertaining To The Max

The good:

This game is quite entertaining, The element of the world cup is superp. The roar of the crowd, The intense passing of the quaffle. This is the first harry potter game ive ever played. I rate this game a 5.

The bad:

There really isnt any flaws in the game to me. For the kind of game it is, I really can't see anything bad.

Summary:

I am now obessed with Quididitch. The intensity of this game reachs for beyond my expectations. Ive always thought all harry potter games are just kiddie games, I thought the same thing about the movies as well until i finally watched them. Now, Harry Potter's Quididitch World Cup has opened my eyes to the harry potter games as well. By far the highest rating of 5. Large sites may say this game lacks this or that, but honestly you have to try this for yourself. I would think this game will be highly praised by all harry potter fans, And quite possably people like me that thought it was jus...

Fun for all ages...ok for most anyway.

The good:

Great graphics, ability to control almost all players, inclusion of Hogwarts House cup,

The bad:

controls are not tight enough, the music is knd of stale and having to unlock so many abilities is a pain.

Summary:

Ok ok... for those HP fans this is a great game. For those who aren't...you might want to pass this up. Thankfully if you've ever played HP and the Chamber of Secrets you would have played Quidditch real fast. It was exceptionally lame in that game. Here they have revamped everything and you can play and pass and all that other fun stuff. The controls don't work as well as they should though. Pulling off some menuvers is easy enough but trying to hit a combo when scoring is just plain hard. The timing sucks and the controls aren't tight enough to make the game better. Flying around ...
