Guilty Gear X2 User Reviews
Everything About this game!!!
Nothing at allSummary:
What can I say about this game? It's the best fighting game ever, the characters are all very different of each other, the music brings you in the mood and the animation is excellent. Forget about Street Fighter or SNK; Guilty Gear X2 rules!!!
In the beginning you'll have to get used, for a beginner it can be hard to pull of a combo.
great variaton of characters!
the best game soundtrack I've heard!
You only get bored if you play non-stop.
Guilty Gear has taken 2d fighing games to a new dimesion, if you like this game, you should try Guilty ...
Understand where I'm coming from before reading this review. I'm a virgin fighter. In all my years of gaming, fighting games have always been at the bottom of my list (just above sports titles). The biggest reason - I'm a lousy player. Not so much from a lack of coordination as a lack of patience. I find myself drawn to the occasional fighter because of interesting character design and aesthetic flash, often after watching other skilled players pull off special attacks and combos with ease. So, drawn by their prowess, I'll buy a game and struggle to learn one character's move list only to g...
The original characters, good difficulty, extra fighters, extra mode, SP and EX versions, some story mode stories. The bad:
It's difficult(some story and misson mode(all) and I can only find a rental. It is discontinued.Summary:
I really don't know where to start, this game rivals street fighter 2(the best fighting game and definer of the genre.) The characters are all origional(from your basic tough guy to a person infected by a mind parasite.) and are evenly balanced(except for a handful.) This game has everything a 2-d fighting fan could want and then some, there is a master of medal mode(M.O.M.), which mimics survival, then there is the survival mode which is very tough.(you earn EX fighters from it every ten rounds.) It also has the obligatory versus and arcade mode. The only complaint I have really is the tra...
They have a better story line, better graphics, they have their own voices and moves are so good. They couldn't have made a better game than this one.The bad:
It only has one problem; they don't show all the moves in the game.Summary:
There's no question that this game is good. It's way better than what I had expected. All the characters have great special moves. I have most of the mission levels completed. Gold Sol is quite impressive and difficult to beat, just like when you play as potemkin, for some reason Sol always ends up beating me very very badly. I have played Guilty Gear one and I know number two is better and the music is so cool. If somebody knows how to do Dizzy's special move; the one that has the 80 hits or more combo. I have tried everything and I still don't know how to do it. If somebody knows ho...
Beautiful animation, killer soundtrack, and a very interesting cast of characters. The bad:
Some of the single-player modes can get downright frustrating at times.Summary:
Who says there aren't any "great" 2D games left nowadays? Certainly not anyone who's had a chance to check out Guilty Gear X2. Although the tide of the fighting game arena seems to be flowing toward the third dimension (just take a look at the strength of the Tekken, Virtua Fighter, and Soul Calibur franchises), fans of 2D games will still have something to cheer about with this latest installation. I myself haven't had a chance to play any of this game's predecessors (Guilty Gear on PlayStation or Guilty Gear X on PlayStation 2), but after playing this game, I'm already a fan of the series...
incredibly difficult to master, eye candy galore, great original japanese voice acting, creative character designs and fighting styles,The bad:
For the first time ever in one of my reviews, I can honestly answer this portion with "nothing." Nothing at all.Summary:
This is BY FAR the greatest fighting game ever made. No other title can offer such depth in gameplay, such captivating characters, such mesmerizing graphics, or such a intricate plotline. Guilty Gear X2 takes fighting games to a whole new level. Unlike the majority of the genre, it has a life span of over ten minutes. Even on Beginner, the lowest of six difficulty levels, no gamer will be able blow through the Arcade Mode the first time picking up the controller. It takes an unbelievable amount of practice to master a character--And there is such an array to choose from you'll take the time...
