A near-perfect guilty pleasure fighter

The good:

Arcade-perfect graphics, sound, and gameplay. Features new characters and gameplay modes. Multiplayer for up to 4 players.

The bad:

Complex controls. No online play. Rather low difficulty level. Unbalanced characters.

Summary:

The latest entry in the popular Guilty Gear fighting series, Isuka is a direct port of the alternative arcade fighting game. It's basic tournament fighting except you try to earn Survival Levels by winning fights and just staying alive, among other things.

The graphics are arcade-perfect, fairly solid with a nice edge to them. The characters and backgrounds are largely anime-style with lots of colors and details, and character colors can be extensively customized until you find the one that suits you.
