Gran Turismo 4 for the Playstation 2. What can I say about this game?
It's pretty much the greatest racer of all time on the Playstation 2. If you bought a 32 bit Playstation 1, you'll probably have owned Gran Turismo 1.
The first one was the best racer on the Playstation.
Gran Turismo 4 is basically Gran Turismo 1, with better graphics and updated car lists, things like that.
If you're a serious driving game fan, you're better off with Forza Motorsport 2/3 or Gran Turismo 5 for the Playstation 3.
But if you own a Playstation 2, you'll be very happy with this.
The controls in this game are good. ...
- Mindblowing graphics
- Tons of fun racing tracks

- Fun to play single player, and also with friends
- Tons of fun and nice cars
- You get hooked instantly
- THE ultimate driving simulator
Maybe you'll get bored of it if you beat it a million times and then a couple more.. maybe.Summary:
When i first played this game, I was shocked. Knowing the Gran Turismo series and knowing that this game was going to come sooner or later, I was expecting something great. Fortunately, it was a lot more than that when I finally got into it (which was immediately).
Okay first of all, the graphics. I just want to take the time right now to say that the graphics look real like no other game. It seriously does push PS2's graphics to a totally new level, because not that many games will have these kind of graphics in them for time to come. Other than that graphics, the sound is amazing. The mus...

A game that bills itself as "The Real Driving Simulator" has a lot to live up to and boy does it.
Gran Turismo 4 is, without a doubt, the most realistic driving game available to buy at the moment on any platform. The way in which the cars handle and behave is identical to how they would in real life. Polyphony digital recreates superbly the feeling of a car's tires gripping the road. You'll be seriously un-nerved when you hear your car's tires squealing as you fly round the Nurburgring Nordschliefe, you'll turn in your seat as you try to force your car round the corkscrew bend at Lagun...
The attention to detail is fantastic, 700 cars, 50 tracks. Graphics and gameplay are fantastic. The bad:
Once again no car damage and I find it leass of a challenge this time.Summary:
When GT3 was released in 2001, a few months later speculation was already gathering for the imminent GT4. Rumours and expectations were flung from all directions. 3 years on it was to be finally released but then delay after delay came until 11 days ago on March 9 it finally graced the gaming shelves of Britain. GT fanatics lept with joy as they were finally given the ability to take it's little white case to their local spotty shop assistant and redeem it. Well, has it lived up to it's expectation. Yes!. But for one or two emissions or mistakes here and there, this is driving heaven. With ...
