Subject: Should there be a Hogs of War 2?

I know that the first on the PSX didn't do to well sales wise, but it turned out to be a great and fun game.
Now with the PS2 out I think Hogs of war could become much better in all ways- Graphics, weapons, level designs, and just about everything.
Yet I am not sure if a Sequel is even possible. The team may not be making games anymore, or it a bunch of other reasons.

more of Rik mayll too, i want them to make HOW2 as well, the game is great and very funny, also, get more creative with a map maker.

They should get V1 working with a better range of graphics cards and XP first. It's a pity there is so much rivalry between hogsers and wormerites. Both games have gradually advanced the 'state of the art'.
Worms 3D is by far the graphically superior (even if it did nick 'tool chests' from lemmings 3 !). OTOH hogs had an 'edge', a better control system, was aimed more at adults and had a stronger anti war message.
I think the best hope is for somone from team 17 to pick up hogs and do a V2. And, as someone from the UK (and lets face it the Brit pigs were as stupid as everyone else's), keep the political incorrectness ... It's funny.

I wish there was a Hogs of war 2. Worms is also a awesome game, but so was Hogs of war. The good old days of playing all these AWESOME psx games.
This is one of the games I had my "best gaming days" with..

Hogs of War had some great map landscapes,the map making was kinda good, coz it mainly makes what you give it.
I loved the weapons in it, how accurate the aiming system was and almost everything about it was great.

yes yes we all loved it after all it was a excelent game but now looking back on it the graphics are rather rubish but the commentary in multiplayer was brilliant.
now go into a garden and bury yourself where none of us can see you, your making us puke

Yes I wish there would be as well, or at least if the remade it for PS2 and made the graphics better and added some new weapons and levels etc.

Worms isn't a patch on Hogs of War IMO. This game is so incredibly funny. My pc was too new to run the pc version (even in compatability mode) so I actually bought an old PSX just for this game! So worth it...
As much as I'd like to see a new one, I doubt it would ever be as funny. Mainly because alot of people considered the first version to be quite racist. I find it really funny, but some take it seriously

Yes of course! I still play the origanal PS1 game every night with my bro and the other 2 CPU teams on multi. I think it would be great to make a Hogs of War 2 , and even add online play to it so we can have even greater stragitic wars
I think the person who said some people took it seriously is right so maybe now they wouldnt be allowed to say some of the stuff that actualy make it so funny

hogs of war is da best game ever well maybe not but its the funnest game i have ever played they didnt really advertise it much on realease and people often shuned it as a worms knock off but it was really good and funny its a shame they didnt make another one but it would look *bleep*in amazing on ps3 or xbox but im not so sure they would make that much money if it was turn based they migjht not since more younger people will be looking at more technalogikly advanced games but if it wasnt turn based it would not truly be hogs of war any way it is still a brillyant game and im pissed off since some *bleep* broke my copy:# but it just might work and every body i know who has played it says it is da bestand screw worms hogs of war is da best no questions asked!
