Was just watching The Ultimate Fighter Season 10 Finale on SpikeTV with Hogan, Dixie Carter and Eric Bischoff in attendance. Joe Rogan spoke with Hogan during a break in between fights and Hogan confirmed the reports they are going head to head with WWE and Monday Night RAW starting in January.

So the rumors were true they were wanting a second show. I wonder if this means the rumors that Hogan wants to get rid of the six-sided ring are true as well.

I heard that too, kinda raised my eyebrow.

I'm a TNA supporter. But like I said in TNA Central, I wish they would just stfu and stop being attention whores. Their product has improved. They're far from perfect, but their shows have been decent and Turning Point has been excellent. But them constantly taking shots at the WWE and acting like they can compete with them is downright laughable. It's like the skinny kid in school who acts like hot shot trying to pick a fight with everyone. Eventually they're going to get knocked the *bleep* back into reality.

Hulk Hogan or direct competition is not going to get people to watch TNA. If anything, they're already pissing off the fans who have been with them since 2002 in an attempt to get WWE hardcore fans that most are going to snub TNA no matter what they do. This is going to end in disaster. Focus on making your product watchable and being your own *bleep*ing company. WWE should be the LEAST of their worries.

HULKAMANIA IS COMING BACK TO MONDAY NIGHT ON “TNA iMPACT!” LIVE JANUARY 4 ON SPIKE TV

Hulk Hogan’s First Live Appearance On Spike TV’s “TNA iMPACT” Will Be In A Special 3-Hour Live Episode Monday, January 4 At 8:00 PM ET/PT

The biggest name in professional wrestling history, Hulk Hogan, will make his first live appearance on Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling’s “TNA iMPACT!” in a live 3-hour special on Spike TV Monday, January 4, 2010 at 8:00PM ET/PT. Hogan and TNA President Dixie Carter attended “The Ultimate Fighter Heavyweights” Finale in Las Vegas where Hogan made the announcement in an interview with Joe Rogan.

“TNA iMPACT!” will be going against “WWE Monday Raw” on USA Network, the first time two wrestling companies have broadcast live head-to-head since the “Monday Night Wars” in the late 1990’s between WWE and WCW. This “iMPACT!” special will broadcast live from the TNA iMPACT! Zone at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fl.

Hogan’s first appearance inside the six-sided ring of TNA Wrestling will follow weeks of speculation after Hogan and Carter announced their partnership on October 27 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Hogan has hinted in various media interviews that he’ll have multiple surprises in store for TNA Wrestling fans.

“I knew when I signed with TNA, that it would be important to make a statement with the first episode. Going head-to-head on January 4th, makes the statement loud and clear: Game on!” Hogan said.

“TNA is kicking off 2010 in the biggest way possible with the biggest name in the history of our sport. Hulk Hogan is a pop culture icon, and his arrival will change not only TNA, but the entire professional wrestling landscape. We’re firing that first shot,” Carter said.

Joining Hogan for the three-hour live “iMPACT!” will be TNA World Heavyweight Champion “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Kevin Nash, “The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe, “The Boss” Bobby Lashley and “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan.

“TNA iMPACT!” will resume its normal timeslot on Thursday, January 7th at 9:00 PM ET/PT with an encore viewing of the live “iMPACT!” special.

Unreal.

Welp, I don't even watch RAW that much anymore but I will be that night. Perhaps them being absolutely obliterated in the ratings as I suspect will be enough to squash their ego and get off their high horse of signing a 56-year-old egomaniac and his puppet.

Oh wait, for a minute there I thought TNA took hints. Meh, *bleep* it.

Well it wouldn't surprise me if WWE does something to make RAW better than night.

But it is kind of funny that they want to go head to head with WWE. They are a decent company(I don't watch it often because I usually work Thursdays) but they definitely aren't ready to go head to head with WWE.

According to F4WOnline.com, WWE is possibly going to counter TNA Wrestling's live show on Monday, January 4th against RAW. How you ask?

According to the website, WWE may schedule a three hour show of their own, so that both WWE's program and TNA's program will go completely head-to-head from 8-11PM ET.

Ohshiiiit son.....Mr. McMahon angry now.

This is one way to get Vince's attention and honestly if he pulls out all the stops for this show, then I'm gamed.

I'm watching RAW because they'll pull out the stops. That 3-hour TNA show will just be Hogan talking and other lame shit, or one spot-fest monkey match after the next. Either way....

This should cement The Rock for this date. WWE would be complete retards not having him for this show.

They should bring in God to guest host RAW that night to combat Hogan. They already have that feud with Vince McMahon to fall back on.

Eh, I don't care. I'll just tape RAW and ignore iMPACT like I normally do.

Can't wait. Monday Night Wars Mk II.. means we finally get some quality wrestling back on Monday Nights, too.

Hopefully this will give the WWE the 'competition' they need to step their product up and especially cut all of the fluff bullshit off Raw. TNA's got some quality shit going on right now and tbh I don't think I'm going to be the only one who's going to start opting for watching Impact live and DVRing Raw.
