the best characters at the best potential, are Falcon,Pikachu, yes, pikachu, his throw is lethal, Ness, Dk, and fox(he's fast). Surpisingly, i found jigglypuff very strong if you can use her right. Falcon is the best, because his combo and he's fast and powerful. Luigi, kirby, Link, mario, samus, are bad when you get as good as you can. Yoshi's bad if you shield his moves and dodge his toungue. i dont care what anyone else says.

Pikachu is the best his recovery owns and he also has good edge guarding/juggling skills. The tier list sure is right!

Dude, only noobs listen to the Tier List.
Kirby is the strongest, without a doubt. His throw pretty much guarentees a KO if the opponent is at 50%, his dair(Rock)is KO compatible and spammable, Smashes are great and has the best recovery in the entire game.

I Have to say that Mario is pretty much the best character(and his brother, Luigi). It's not because I like them, its because they are well balanced characters, and if you know how to use them, you can beat any one(but I'm someone you might call a veteran so I'm not the best). Metal Mario rules too and I beat level 9 Master hand with him easy(I have a GameShark)!!!

Not only is he cute, but I beat everyone who plays against me with him.
Kirby is also one of my favorites.
