With the current party that you have I wouldn't. None of the people you can get will have such high levels.
If you do want to change then I'd suggest going to one of the Faqs linked to this site. Lone soldier I know will give you a complete list of player stats for everyone. Well done on the tower by the way, I thought I had done well when I left with lvl. 21 all around.

Keep it the same, that is perfect, but i am a weapons master, i know every weapon and its PS, and HIT, and damage, i suggest you get either the Chaos Sword, if you don't have it, this sword poisons the enemy when hit. and i know a place you can find it. E-MAIL back if you want it or if you have any Q's.

Don't get Donovan. Baird and Sholeh and Abrecan are the best group in the game, hands down, no question. Maybe Keelin instead of Baird, maybe. And the Chaos Sword is one of the worst swords in the game. Base hit of 20. Sure it looked awesome with poison and 5 damage but then I tried it out and realized it never hit. Ever. And 25 minimum strength sucks too. Anyway if you really want one of the worst swords in the game you can get it as soon as you get your first party. Just run up the hill to the chaos camp and Brenna has sufficient thief and mechanic to open it. I always sell it for 5200(which is quite a bit at the beginning).

I disagree with your statements about the choas sword. I have Brenna equipped with it and she hits 95% of the time. Even Abrecan, when he had it could hit alomst everytime, except against those smelly Goblin Poisoners!

No not when I had it. And do you know how much training it would take to get Brenna up to 25 strength? I equipped it to Abrecan one game and he could never hit against a ogre! I mean, he can't hit a thing fifteen feet tall with no form of defences whatsoever.

I am fully aware that it takes alot to train Brenna to lvl. 25 strength. I've done it. However, if you do it right you can have her there b4 you face Kitarak. I've done that as well. I don't know why it seems to work for me and not for you.
Here's a hint, though, in case you need it.
DON'T AVOID BATTLES! Find every enemy you can find and fight them all! If you do this and face all of the goblins in the camp before you fight Kitarak, it is not difficult to have Brenna strength
30 when you fight him!

Do you think I'm a noob or something? I know not to avoid battles. Especially before Kitarak. But still, a base hit of 20 makes it far inferior to any decent sword. Besides, poison is not something big that will actually contribute to a battle. By the time it does one damage, that monster will usually be dead with my playing style. I team up on one monster at a time with all four people. So you see, Trahern/Lodin/Broad/Long/Great/etc. sword are better.

Main guy
Rheda
Dougal
Farris
Here's how characters work. They all have the same max stats. They all have the same damage formulas. The only ultimate difference between them is the skills they can't learn. Shield is probably the most helpful skill in the game, and many characters that you guys are suggesting can't learn shield. That's just plain silly. Thrown is also a very useful skill, because it lets you use the best ranged weapon in the game: the Dragon Fang. Then you have wizard, which is useful too. Hafted is also incredibly useful because it lets you use the best close range weapon in the game: the Chaos Maul. Its base hit is only 30, but I beat the game without EVER missing with it, and I had two people using it. Hint: get your thief skill to level 10 if you like landing your hits, which, by the way, is another skill I look for in party members. For example, the main character and Rheda completely outclass Abrecan in melee damage because they can learn thief, and he can't. So the party I made meets all of these requirements, except that Rheda can't learn thrown, and that Farris can't learn wizard. This is still the closest to perfection you can get, without cheating.

In response to the claim that the different characters that some people choose to utilize being silly, I state that different players have different styles so no one skill is essential to all.
And while it is possible to train all the characters up to the same maximum level, it is much easier to train them from base levels that are already high.
Further, the concept of training all your characters in the same areas can be redundant and, in cases like my playing style, actually be detrimental. I prefer to have a well rounded group that requires as little training as possible and can readily adapt to different situations. For instance I never train any two characters in the same spell unless it is like Mirror and canonly affect one at a time. This allows my group to master spells faster since each person is working on a different spell e.g. Brenna trains strength and Air Shield, Rheda trains stupidity and Brilliance, Alaron trains fireball.
This Same concept applies to most other attributes and weapons as well. (really the only thing that my chars all have in common is that they all wear Chaos robes.
Also I find it most beneficial to play through the entire game with your starting party. This allows you to completely customize them to your playing style and you don't end up with duplicate skills/spells when one is all you need.
Again, this is only for my playing style. If yours differs significantly then my method probably won't work as well for you as it does for me. That's the nature of games like this.

Here's how I do it:
Beginning of Game:
Alaron
Rheda
Abrecan
Brenna
After defeating Kitarik:
Alaron
Becan
Brenna
Rheda
After arriving on Chaos Island:
Alaron
Brenna
Becan
Keelin
After arriving in Terminor:
Alaron
Becan
Brenna
Neisan
After Leaving Shamsuk's Tower:
Alaron
Brenna
Becan
Farris
After killing Shamsuk:
Alaron
Becan
Brenna
On the way to the Desert:
Alaron
Brenna
Becan
Donovan
After completing evrything I need to do in th Great Desert and from that Point on:
Either:
Alaron
Becan
Brenna
Donovan
Or:
Alaron
Becan
Brenna
Sholeh
The reason I keep Becan is because of the fact that he CAN'T use spells. With Alaron and Brenna, I've been increasing their combat and spellcasting skills, but since Becan can't use spells, I can get him up to a high level in terms of combat stats. He has dexterity, willpower, strength, endurance, and sheild at max level. He has hafted at almost max and stamina at a very high level. I keep Brenna because of her usefulness. At my current point in the game, Brenna has high level elemental spells, max theif skill, max Mechanic skill, and a decent Wizard skill. the only main thing left to do is teach her the Warrior skill and train that but otherwise, she's an amazing asset.
As for having Donovan or Sholeh? Well, to me, Donovan is like a much better version of Rheda, considering he has much higher combat skills and better spellcasting skills. But the reason I'd possibly choose Sholeh instead is because so far I have yet to find any place where you can get the Dispell Star spell, and Sholeh's the only person I have seen with that spell. The reason that spell would be crucial is because aside from Foreball, Ponchongarat uses one other spell frequently: Frozen Doom. Because of this, I have found it necessary to hav someone with that spell in my party bcause after casting Vs. Elemental and having Brenna attack with Lodin's Sword, she tends to use that spell on Brenna, so it'd be ideal to have someone capable of dispelling Frozen Doom or else I'd be a goner, considering the best and possibly only way to defeat Ponchangarat is to have a character with Lodin's Sword attack. With my Lodin's Sword holder frozen, I'd lose. But, I'll try finding it. Maybe Alaron can learn it somewhere.

Does anyone else find it kind of weird how Becan does not have and cannot learn the Sword Skill even though he clearly speaks about his Rusty Sword in his Journal in Gwernia. I know Aidyn Chronicles does have some major bugs in it and its still an awesome game but honestly has anyone here ever heard of a Knight or any person for that matter that cannot wield any smaller and lighter Swords but can somehow wield almost any large and heavy Axe? Don't get me wrong I love Becan and his Axe but how is it possible that a character as strong as Becan can't even use a simple Dagger. I'm sure that if any of us had a Sword we could eventually learn how to use it just by simply practicing the art of Swordplay. Give it a week maybe two and I'm sure that we would be fairly good if not great at using a Sword. Anyway I'm just ranting here but I'm just a little pissed about how many corners THQ and H2O cut when they could have made Aidyn greater than it already is just by tidying a few simple things up. Too bad but even so for me Aidyn Chronicles is still an awesome game.
