Subject: is there some kind of glitch with the stamina spell?

haha i know there's like one other person on here, so hi! have you ever used the stamina spell? it's supposed to add 2 stamina per rank to whoever it's cast on, but when i use it, it subtracts 2 stamina per rank and the only way to remedy the damage is to turn off and restart the game. i was so pissed hahaha i was cursing poopsie<3 (my rename for alaron) for screwing everyone over, before i remembered that the last time i played the same thing happened. so if this is a glitch in the game (and not just in mine), don't use stamina!

I barely ever use the Stamina Spell myself so I really haven't seen this happen. But when it comes to Aidyn Chronicles anything that can go wrong, usually will probably because of a Bug haha. To my knowledge Stamina acts as the equivalent to MP. (Magic Points). I rely more on Spell Battery than on Stamina myself because basically Spell Battery is just a substitute for Stamina. This way I can focus on increasing my other Attributes rather than having to waste the Experience on Stamina. So instead of draining my Stamina when I cast a Spell it drains my Spell Battery instead. This helps me a lot especially in the early stages of the game.

i just felt like using a bunch of spells for no good reason, other than i had them and i could haha, and i was like OH stamina! that's a good one! but no, no it isn't. and spell battery - does that only increase with magic items and wizard rank?

Actually Spell Battery doesn't increase at all in Wizard Rank. Your Wizard Rank only effects the chance to successfully cast a Spell and the chance to successfully resist a Spell. Oh yes, and of course a higher Wizard Rank also enables you to learn higher level Spells. So I'm nearly positive Spell Battery only comes from the Items. Thats why I've been looking all over Aidyn for an Item called the Wizard Wand. All it gives you is Spell Battery +30 but when I combine that with the Wizard Hat, the Namer's Ring, and the Staff Of Lugash that would give me a whopping +90 to Spell Battery. But alas I think I may have missed out on getting it because the Zombie you supposedly get it from is not there anymore. It is supposed to be in a sandy pit near Terminor but I think you have to fight them before you enter Shamsuk's Tower or they'll disappear. I think these Zombies are the same as the ones mentioned by Tamberlain. Man am I ever disappointed about that. Oh well.

Yea I know what you mean. That Side Quest is really easy to miss!

Haha yea they basically just threw in the Journal and the Journal Entries just for the hell of it. Too bad the Journal wasn't like KOTOR's in that it actually recorded Quests and Side Quests.

Heh thats like the most annoying part of the game is how monsters and people are always vanishing into thin air and you gotta happen upon stuff a lot of times at just the right moment. Like that purple swordsman (whatever his name is). Man I logged over 100 hours on my first Aidyn game, I wish the company hadnt fallen apart and theere was a sequil, with that cloud tower like on the box cover

Yeah a sequel would have been awesome. But actually that "Cloud Tower" on Aidyn's Box is just Shamsuk's Tower. Originally the Devs designed Shamsuk's Tower to look just like that but when they tested it out you could apparently see the top of the Tower no matter where you were in the world so they had to shrink it down a bit haha.
