Speaking of road trip.. WHO'S GOING TO BLIZZCON?

October 10th-11th at the Anaheim Convention Center. Tickets are $100.

I'm gonna drive down there with some of my friends. IT'S ALL WORTH IT TO TAKE A LOOK AT STARCRAFT 2.

Yeah ... I think I'll wait for the video-taped YouTube video of it.

Blizzard usually hands out "goodie bags" at BlizzCons, last year they contained code for a WoW costume worth $300 on eBay. MONEY BACK EZ

And there will probably be demo stations and unofficial tournaments, not to mention the Korean progamers coming here to lay some e-smackdown.

Only thing that place was good for was Anime Expo 2005 and 2006.

Anime conventions really aren't my thing, but everyone who attended BlizzCon 2007 kept bragging about how amazing it was to play SC2 and sit among the audience of an intense pro gamer match.

One of the pros, Kang Min, actually chilled at the hotel everyone was staying at and spent some time answering questions and playing SC against his fans. That was a nice treat since Kang Min is pretty much like an A-list celebrity back home.

A pro Starcraft player is considered A-list? Since when?

Cmon guys its summer. The last thing you guys should be talking about is computer games, and on top of that, watching other people play computer games.

If I had a 100 dollars and I was in Anaheim, I'd go to Disneyland

The event itself is on October, it's just that the tickets go on sale soon.

That's how big pro SC is in Korea. Lim Yo-Hwan has the biggest fan club for a single person in Korea(600,00+ members), second overall to boy band H.O.T. The well known pros get swarmed by fans whenever they go to downtown Seoul. It's a pretty interesting phenomenon.

Speaking of summer though, I might go to New York City then to Europe in August.

Seriously. Those pro Korean gamers creep me out.

Speaking of SoCal amusement parks, does anyone know if Universal Studios Hollywood added anything new there lately ?

Haha, I went there last summer, expecting something new at least. The only new thing was the Mummy ride, and it wasn't even that great. A lot like Space Mountain, like a 35mph roller coaster that goes around in circles.

If you want to have fun, go to Magic Mt. They have at least 10 crazy coasters that will make you shit your pants directly into your own mouth. Every time I go there, I stay the whole day, and sometimes still don't have enough time for all the rides I wanna go on.

LAME. The only thing there worth riding there these days is Jurassic Park.

I definitely need to stop by Magic Mountain next time I'm down south.

Don't you live in Sanjo? Just go to Great America, haha. That place is amazing. I'm east of the bay, so all I have is Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, and Raging Waters in Sacramento. Both garbage places. Socal has a lot better places. Knotts Berry farm, Magic Mt, Disneyland, California Adventures, Universal, and thats just in LA.

It's summer time. It's all about Water Parks. Water Parks are really the only theme parks i like to get a season pass to. Wild Rivers and Raging Waters. I like Wild Rivers best. Raging Waters has the best slides but is mainly all about water park slides, but Wild Rivers is great to just chill in the jacuzzi or river tube while there are also some good slides too.
