Well, considering the majority of Asian forums live outside Asia itself, I want to ask you a question. Do you act white? Or do you act like a "true Asian"?

I thought about this because someone in my class claimed herself as "Banana", lulz (White inside, yellow outside)

I'd say I'm right in the middle. There's some white customs that I've picked up, but still a true asian at heart.

Nope, though my English heads west and sounds like one I still say "P____'nang yan!" quite a lot and uses bare hands for eating. The slingshot and climbing trees? I still do it in my 20s and the best thing about it? I'm at home, Philippines baby, yeah! Oh and I still wear an Agsam bracelet(a vine bracelet that won't come off for years to come)and uses tubaw for a scarf. (Makibaka, huwag matakot!)

I've been in this country since i was 2, born in china, raised in da hood of america. I act a bit white. I speak with the accent of my beloved city. I say norf instead of north, etc.. my hoods like 1/5 white so there really aint a lot of white people i talk to. ever since ive been in college, most the asians are afraid to act asian; they act really white, except for the internationals. like whiter than any white people i know. And they feel so ashamed when they have an all asian hangout. and they criticize me for not wanting to change. I act who I am who i am and i'm not ashamed of it. I act white, asian, and also black. when I go hangout who who ever I want no matter where they from or what they look like. to answer the question, i do act white
