I started reading VALIS a few days back. I have to say, this is one of the best books I've read, and I've read quite a few. If you're interested in metaphysics at all, I would definitely recommend you read this. I'm also giving the new Elder Scrolls novel, The Infernal City a go. It's not that bad for a game-based book.

I just finished Lauren Kate's "Fallen" and it was such a good book! I loved reading it, and I suggest others to do so as well.

I just started reading Prophecy of the Sister's by Michelle Zink. So far it's interesting, but I'll just have to read further to see if I really like it.

Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. Read this a long time ago at school before, but bought it yesterday for nostalgic reasons. Such a good read.

Children of the Serpent Gate by Sarah Ash.

It's the conclusion to a trilogy I started reading about two years ago. I've been meaning to read this since the summer.

Henry David Thoreau- Walden and Civil Disobedience

I have an intellectual man crush on this man, his writing is awe-inspiring.

Hopefully just intellectual. The man had a gnarly looking neck-beard. Have to say the same though; Thoreau was a master craftsman with words.

Just started As I Lay Dying by Faulkner to continue my excursion into the the literature of the American South.

I'm on a reread of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass at the moment. It has reinvigorated my love of Wonderland.

I just finished reading a book called Rising Phoenix, by Kyle Mills. It's a thriller. It's not bad; I'd certainly read more of his books. It ended kind of suddenly though, after such a huge build up.

I'm reading 'The Devil in the White City' right now, it's quite an interesting book and it's based on a true story! It's about the Chicago World Fair, and how it created the perfect environment for this psycho killer. Pretty awesome stuff, you should check it out.
