It's not confirming that Lightning is her real name.
That would just be like preliminary information on Red XIII before Final Fantasy VII came out, and then speculating that it was his confirmed real name, when in actual fact it's Nanaki.

Oh right? I remember naming Red XIII Nanaki in one of my play throughs. It was rather funny when you reached Cosmo Canyon...

my brother did that to. "my name is nanaki, but you can call me nanaki" (Same with ff9 and steiner my name is not rusty..and he named him rusty XD)

That Selphie was really well done (esp the shoes XD). The only thing was the colour of the hair... but other than that it was really good. Everyone else's is nice too! And I like that Cloud's hair

The outfits arent bad atall, just not the best lookalikes i've seen, i think its a pretty good effort though.

Good effort indeed. I'd have to say that Squall's is really well done actually. He could do a bit more work on the hair though
. The Quistis costume is great too! Hmmm... is it just me... or do a lot of cosplayers for Quistis like to make pink outfits ... or mabye this one has a bit of orange to it..... maybe its the light. But i like the costume. The girl reminds me of someone i know. As for Rinoa... the shoes are good .

I can't comment on the human cosplaying really, the Mog and Vivi costumes are just hilarious. Especially the Vivi costume is a legend.
And the mog at the right does look high! XD

Squall never looks that scary and intimidating, he just looks annoyed or not interested. The Moomba one is cool though, looks like the summoning attack, well kind off.
