We've just published our review of the "XXX" edition of XFX's 8800 GTX flagship. Not only is this thing monstrously huge, its performance is adequately "monstrous".

Here's Micah's quote hehe:

Who's looking to find the most powerful graphics card money can buy? You can put your hands down now.

Well, XFX has just released their brand new, over powered, sweets frags are upon us graphics card. Look at the comparison tests we ran, because those numbers don't lie.

That card is such a statement itself without even putting it in your pc... the cooling was very well thought out. Of course the specs it boasts I wouldnt expect anything less from it. Funny how the X1950XTX still hangs in there, I would still consider it a decent value considering there are no Dx10 games on the market for now.

That is a pretty sick card!

This is the funniest benchmark ever!

The 1950 performs better with AA and AF enabled than it does without!

I'll actually be picking up an 8800GTX pretty soon myself.

Go on, flame me.

I am no longer able to flame the latest GeForce cards since they've cleaned up their act.

Here's to hoping they don't release a GeForce MX8200 just to *bleep* over consumers though.

I think the MX is a thing of the past. Though you know there wil for sure be a "Geforce 8100, 8150, 8150 OC", and crap like that, which will perform like crud in DX10 games, as the FX5200 did, and the Geforce 6100, and 6200.

Yeah, of course there will be low end versions of the flagship, but I just hope they don't disable features like they did on the MX series...

I mean that's what really made the MX series horrible, not only did it not perform well, it wasn't capable of pixel shading! That's just horribly mean! I can understanding dumbing down performance, but completely disabling feature sets is ridiculous.

Well the MX series was at a time where pixel shading was still an iffy area. The funny thing is how long after the release the cards were still being sold. And those who believed they were fast, only because they didnt have to render pixel shaded objects, thus giving a huge FPS boost over cards like the radeon 8500 and such.

Hey when you have chance to sell your current card for a price you will probably not be able to sell it for ever again, if possible you should take advantage of the situation. (AKA, Mark, Joey is building a new comp and is buying my card .)

965 chipset can't SLI.

If for some reason I was ever to go SLI a quick mobo change wouldn't be that much of a problem.

Too bad on the SLI deal though might make you think twice about saving some money and just crossfiring... though your over that. Also Joey told me he was done with computers cause he had his problems to boot, wtf lol he changed his mind REALLY quick.

He saw vanguard on my monitor...

My mobo isn't too great for crossfire either, about 10% slower than a 975x.

I think im going to purchase one too keep it running in the current X2 system and when the new ATI cards come out il build a Core 2 or Quad core based system on one of those.

I havent done much building lately.
