If you thought NVIDIA's Geforce GTX 650 trimmed a little too much out of Kepler in order to bring DirectX11 to the masses, you'll be pleased to know the GTX 650 Ti is designed to occupy the slightly beefier mid-range with 768 CUDA cores and a 925MHz core reference clock. It also aims at the market spot between AMD's Radeon HD 7700 and 7800 cards. See if it hits bullseye in our review.

Your HW setup lists a 7970 card. Also, why are such old drivers being used? Isn't AMD on 9.01 something? There were huge performance bumps in the last beta drivers.

Thank you for pointing out the graphics card typo. At the time when the article was started that was the latest driver from AMD.

We list the settings and what resolutions that will be used during testing on the page labeled Test Setup & Benchmarks. It is always listed on this page.

I am sorry for any confusion.
Thanks!

Hulk

The GTX 650Ti should be able to play most modern games on close to or completely maxed out graphics with playable frame-rates.
