Mardy Bum is my favourite track on the album.

I don't see what all the fuss is about this band. They're ok but I wouldn't say the three songs I've heard are anything too special. Give me Maximo Park anyday.

There music has grown on me, much more than when i first heard it. Good sign for a promising band.

Really like this band, first got into them sometime last year and I've got like 70 songs by them now, obviously not all different songs mostly songs off the album done live at different places. If your interested in these just ask.
I know some people though that only like them really because they are quite popular which bloody does my head in.
Also, I'd have to agree that most of their demo versions sound a lot better than what they do on the album.

I've only heard two of there songs, but I like what I've heard so far...

Heard they're a bit cocky, won't do TV shows and turned down the brits because they say they are "already to famous"... fame dies out eventually...

Think it's silly really, there turning down big money and a world wide stage...

I know they don't do Top Of The Tops for one reason or another...

Aye they didn't, reason wasn't anything do with fame it was because it wasn't 'proper' because it would be pre-recorded, sure they did Later with Jools Holland one week though.

Bloc Party= amazing!!!!!!!!!!
This is extremely true although slightly irrelevant.

Back on topic, I'm not sure where people have heard about Arctic Monkeys being a bit up themselves. Every time I've seen them interviewed they've been very down to earth. They're fully aware that in a few months, their hype will have died down considerably and everyone will be banging on about something else instead.

i got there album about 2/3 months agoof the internet but its not the same as this 1, it has mostly the same songs on but the officialy released is a bit cleaner cut, but better sound quailty, but i prefer the 1 off the internet more raw and edgey

Beat me to it on Bloc Party* and the Arctic Monkeys. I'm just hoping that their follow-up album is as good as this one. I hope they keep up the momentum.

*When's the new album out, btw?

Bloc Party are in the studio and expect the album to be out by late summer.

Back on the Arctic topic, I do think some tracks have lost a little bit of their edge on the album but they're still great. A Certain Romance and Fake Tales are my favourites.

Aye Fake Tales Of San Francisco is a great song, got some of the live stuff from dandaman, and it is great, You Probably Couldn't See For The Lights But You Were Looking Straight At Me is excellent.

You Probably Couldn't See For the Lights... is probably my second favourite track behind Mardy Bum. I love the other vocalist in it, is it the drummer?
