What are these guys? German pop? I don't care, they're cool.
Well, you can classify them as britpop actually.
That's how they sound in my ears.

I'd say they are British Punk Rock myself.

I'd compare them a little to "Blur"

British punk? Doesn't seem so to me. I've heard their punk, and Franz Ferdinand is not Brit Punk.

Same here. I was foolish enough to turn down a free ticket to go see them too. She asked me "Do you wanna go see Franz Ferdinand?" I was like "Who the f*ck is that? Nah, I think I'll stay around town." St00pid me. Been kickin' my own ass ever since.

If you compare them to Blur then shouldn't you classify them as indie?

That's the genre I'd say they are, but they're a hard band to classify

Wow, there's a timeline for everything nowadays. Anyways, I didn't go because I didn't really know them much. Then, a few days later, I really got into their CD. Meh, they're touring again so I'm going to catch them around this time.

You know? let's just be original and call them alternative.

9/10 - Philadelphia, PA @ Electric Factory
9/11 - Carrboro, NC @ Cat's Cradle
9/12 - Atlanta, GA @ Masquerade Music Park
9/14 - Dallas, TX @ Gypsy Tea Room
9/15 - Houston, TX @ Verizon Wireless Theatre
9/17 - Austin, TX @ Zilker Park
9/22 - San Francisco, CA @ Concourse Exhibition Center
9/24 - Portland, OR @ Crystal Ballroom
9/25 - Auburn, WA @ White River Amphitheatre

I'm pretty sure they'll add-in a few L.A. tour dates right after the Montreal gigs. If not, then :bl33p:. I'll have to wait 'til next year or something. >_<
