MKDD- Mario Kart Double Dash. I hope that clears things up for everyone. sorry.
Also, a Rival character is a character that usually comes in first, unless effected by an item. In SMK, the characrters always come in a set order, unless changed by items. So the rival is the one that always comes in first.

Nope. It doesn't change. Super Mario Kart is such a low tech game, the designers propbably just did that to ake their lives easier. I don't really know. I was born the year it came out.
