Subject: PC issue with AVIs playing too fast.
-------------------------------------------
I recently bought the PC version of Grandia 2 and seem to be having an issue which is almost the opposite of the common AVI effect freezes.
Whenever a move/spell is done that uses an AVI, it goes WAY too fast. The actual move works, but for example, when Millenia uses the wings move, it goes so fast that it interrupts her and skips to halfway through it, and when the move finishes, there is a really long pause because the AVI finishes so early.
I've tried a lot to fix this, even changing the actual AVI's frame-rate to a speed that played like the original Dreamcast moves did, but this just causes it to freeze when that AVI gets used.
Can anyone help? I really want to get this working right.

Don't think it's possible. It's the speed of your processor that's making it go too fast. I've had the problem since I bought the game. Just kind of have to deal with it.

This is an intentional feature of the PC version....(saves cd-ROM SPACE)

I've noticed the problem too. It seems pretty stupid if it is intentional. I ought to complain to the makers.
