this is no joke but i caught my articuno with pokeball ( after 100 times ), zapdos with a great ball ( 6 ), moltres with an ultra and mewtwo with a pokeball. i used my masterball on suicune coz i thought it was a shiny.

Ahh! I got it! Moltres and Articuno were both easy cakes according to this!
I've been trying to catch Zapdos for hours, and finally I got it. I don't know if it is a code or what, but I pressed A and B rapidly, like abababab. I threw 5 ultra balls. HP was like 1 and status was paralyzed. I recommend trying that ababab thing!
before it everything was for nothing frustrating

- I find him no harder to catch that any of the other birds.
Also, pressing random buttons does not in anyway heighten your chance of catching the Pokemon.

then i do this.
*pokeball rocks right and i press <* *ball rocks left and i press >* *right and press >* *take finger off and you catch it!*

is zapdos impossible to catch?

There are only limited number of rare candies in the game. Why do you want to get your pokemons to lv.99?
