there isnt much diffrence beetween the two versions except everythings inverted and the controls right.

The only other difference I can think of is that the Wii version has widescreen display settings. I'm honestly not sure whether the GC version does or not.
Other than that, you are correct. The Wii version is a mirror image of the GC version with motion and pointer control.
