Subject: Mountain top Emu glitch?

Okay, I need help. Im trying to get the stupid snowboard, and so far I have gotten the rino, the fish, and the sheep in their little doorway thingie to give to the caged spirit. Now when ever I try to ride the emu through its doorway it wont stay, it just walks right through! I think Ive tried everything, am I missing something here? Please help!!

have you tried jumping of it and chasing it into the doorway thing?[thats what i did.]

I can't get the emu to stay either. I ran it through the door way, made it stand in the door way , jumped off it through the doorway and it wont light up. what the hell?
