Are there any problems with this game (slowdown in the emulator, etc...)? I'm trying to decide whether to buy the gamecube or ps2 version.

well, I bought it for the gamecube because for some bizzare reason, the ps2 version costed 40 bucks and the gamecube version costed 30 bucks. but the emulation is good and it does slow down but only in the old nes ones and only when there are too many sprites in the screen at once. buy it for watever system you like best.

I bought the PS2 version for only $27 and brand new.

The only problem I have had occur is that everyonce in awhile, when playing Megaman III, there is lag switching weapons with L and R buttons. Other than that, everything seems to be working as good or better than the originals.

I wouldn't consider this a real technical issue, but if you're a Rock Man vet, then you should be warned that the A and B buttons are switched... So B is jump, and A is fire! However, I heard the controls are normal in the PS2 version. Whatever floats your boat, the switching of the A and B button didn't bother me that much.

It happened to me, too. I was so mad about it because it didnt happen to any of my games like MMAC does. So I had to use my other memory card for MMAC. I had to start all over again but I still enjoy to play it, though.
