We're going to wreck everyone.

And start introducing! I'm sure more people will come about and offer their lives up for a player soon enough!
Yup, however, I'll make some sort of competition, but we'll still win this league.

Goalkeepers will be up tomorrow unless others disagree.

1. Taisei Maruko
Euphoria

AGE: 24
NATION: Japan
FROM: Shimizu, Japan
APPEARANCES: 36
NATIONAL CAPS: 3
POSITION: Goalkeeper
PREVIOUS CLUBS: Shimizu S-Pulse, Shimada City
COST: n/a

PLAYER OVERVIEW

24 year old Taisei Maruko is one of the many players currently contracted to Shimada who came through the ranks at Shimizu S-Pulse before joining the Shimada side from the local side. He is widely tipped to become Japan's number 1 within the next few years. Maruko's strengths are catching the ball and defending set-pieces. While he has two solid centre backs in front of him to clear the ball, he always towers over attackers, and clutching the ball. He is widely regarded as a sweeper' keeper, rushing of his base line to stop opposition attackers from scoring. This has proved costly in the past.

It's a bit messy, but what do you think? Nebata tomorrow. Will try to get these out daily!

13. Shou Nebata

AGE: 18
NATION: Japan
FROM: Yokohama, Japan
APPEARANCES: 10
YOUTH NATIONAL CAPS: 15 (u-19)
POSITION: Goalkeeper
PREVIOUS CLUBS: Yokohama F. Marinos, Malmo FF.
COST: 2.5m

PLAYER OVERVIEW

The Yokohama native was raised in a house right next to Yokohama F Marinos' training ground. He joined them as soon as he could, and spent 10 years in the junior teams of Yokohama, until huge Swedish side Malmo FF paid £50,000 for the then 14 year old. 3 years at Malmo were spent mainly in the reserves, but he was only 16.

Shimada signed him mid-season, after Oussama Al Heposi moved to Qatar United, stepping up Taisei Maruko and using Nebata as the sole back-up 'keeper.Nebata has struggled to show that he's a true shot-stopper at pro level. In the past, issues have come where Nebata should make the save but instead lets the ball slip or parries. However, his first U21 caps came in the latest squad call. He is one of many young players in the side playing in the U21s now, with Kaito Koshimizu, Daisuke Kaito, Abe Kimihara and Hiroshi Gyomachi in the side. A bright present and future are ahead for Japan's national team.

Nebata's number 2 right now, but a bright future beckons for the teenager.

Well, the title isn't confirmed. There's some stiff competition. I created the main rivals today and their star striker scored 5 times in one game.

Beck is good though.

Today, we take a small break from player introductions and focus on some opposition. Current champions and massive rivals Qatar United, and their star striker Cinalton.

Cinalton

AGE: 29
NATION: Brazil
FROM: Belo Horizonte, Brazil
APPEARANCES (GOALS): 48 (26)
NATIONAL CAPS (GOALS): 56 (34)
POSITION: Striker
CLUBS: America Miniero, Santos, Valencia, Real Madrid, Galatasaray, Inter, Fluminense, Qatar United.

PLAYER OVERVIEW

Like most prodigies from Brazil, Cinalton came through a 'Started from the Bottom' story. He was raised by his mother with 3 older brothers. Cinalton had rickets, a bone problem in his legs. This caused him difficulty running. However, he was better than the players around him, and could get around them, no problem. It's also worth noting that he and Brazil striker Fred both started at the same club, America Miniero, and would be reunited in 2010 at Fluminense. They formed a formidable strike force at both clubs, with Cinalton being the creator and Fred being the scorer.

As mentioned before, Cinalton is a very creative player, he runs into pockets of space and can execute lightning quick turns at a high frequency. Cinalton's strengths are his direct approach with the ball, he is always wanting to take the man on. At Qatar United, a new aspect to his game was added. Finishing. Cinalton's finishing had been what had held him back, but once he started to score, he just couldn't stop, as he captained Qatar to a PASL Title in 12-13.

26. Takumi Numutari

AGE: 24
NATION: Japan
FROM: Tokyo, Japan
APPEARANCES (GOALS): 116 (5)
NATIONAL CAPS (GOALS): 5 (0)
POSITION: Centre-Back
FORMER CLUBS: Tokyo FC, Shimizu S-Pulse
PRICE: 5m

PLAYER OVERVIEW

Not a native of Shizuoka, like others in the squad, Kumi Numutari was born in Tokyo to a former Tokyo FC and Japan striker and and Japanese Women's international. With such genes in his body, Numutari's only first interests were to play football. In fact, his father Shunsuke claims his first word was 'soccer'. His son was good and despite his fathers efforts to make him become a striker, his mother convinced him to be a defender. At 14, Tokyo, the club he had joined at 7 years old, penned him to a 5 year youth contract, as European interest mounted from France and Sweden. That came with the clause to promote him the day he turned 16. That happened, as Numutari became Tokyo FC's youngest ever player. 4 years as reserve captain followed until Shimizu S-Pulse signed him for 1.5m in 2008. Shimada made an inital approach to trade him with Ryo Obata in 2011, but Shimizu wouldn't sell an integral part of their side. A week later, Obata controversially signed for bitter rivals Altipano Bunan in a £6.5m deal and Shimada used 5m of the sale to tempt the 22 year-old defender to Shimada Bay Stadium. Two years later, and Numutari has thrived under previous manager Diego Maradona, acting as a mainstay in the side, winning a PASL and Coca Cola Cup during his spell.

Numutari is a composed player and while not a towering presence, he still wins everything in the air with an excellent jump and header. He is renown for being able to keep up with some of the quickest players in the game.

Numutari has 5 international caps for Japan but has struggled to secure a place in the side. Obata has gone on to become an unmovable fixture in Japan's XI.

3. Shouta Kasatsu

AGE: 25
NATION: Japan
FROM: Shimizu, Japan
APPEARANCES (GOALS): 136 (17)
NATIONAL CAPS (GOALS): 25 (2)
POSITION: Centre-Back
FORMER CLUBS: Shimizu S-Pulse, Vissel Kobe (loan)
PRICE: £3m (+Daisuke Kaito)

PLAYER OVERVIEW

A native of Shizuoka Prefecture, Kasatsu has the spirit of Shimizu and Shimada in his blood. He was born in Shimizu, joining Shimizu S-Pulse as a youngster. He had a season loan at Vissel Kobe as a 20 year old, playing twenty times. Kobe couldn't agree a fee and he was exchanged to Shimada for £3m and Daisuke Kaito, who had a buy back clause that was activated this summer. The 4 years he has spent at Shimada has seen him grow from a reckless ragged centre-back to a calm and collected player who makes excellent tackles and is good on the ball. Although there's an occasional bad tackle or red card incident, Kasatsu has definitely improved since his arrival at Shimada. Kasatsu has sporting blood in his body, his uncle Shinji ventured all the way to Hibernian in a football career. His cousin Kaito Murishige plays as a centre midfielder for Altipano Bunan. Another key fact about Kasatsu is his prolific goalscoring record, with his 17 goals in 136 games over 4 years.

Kasatsu has had a successful career for Japan. At the tender age of 25, he has appeared at a World Cup in 2010 and won an Asian Cup in 2011.
