Parmar1993 Haha, I know. But that's pretty much what I've been saying over all of my updates haha!
How's the template though? Swear I spent longer than I should have on it.
Mate it looks amazing. Top quality stuff to be honest. I wasn't really expecting something like that, haha!
Thanks! I'm not that great of an editor but I wanted this to look decent so I spent pretty much my entire night on it!

That template's great, man! Other than the spelling of "A-Legue", of course.

Diouf - Smith

Hunt - Svento - Brown - Tonge

Warnock - Jovanovic - Lees - Halsti

Kenny
Griffiths

Collins Curtis

Ford - Bates

Fehmi

Curbishley - Morris - G. Kidd - D. Page

Robertson

TEAM NEWS:
  • Leeds going defensive today as they have been leaking too many goals this season and sit 16th. Two banks of four with two strikers who will be isolated for most of the game.
  • Paddy Kenny captains the home side.
  • Bromley restore their back line and Bates comes in for Trystan Lloyd. Strong side for Bromley today as they look to bounce back after the draw against Middlesbrough.
  • Robertson captains the visitors.

MATCH REPORT:

KICK OFF: Middlesbrough in their home kit of all white with Bromley in their away strip of red and black shirts, white shorts and red socks.

7' - GOAL! Leeds try to break and they move a lot of men forward, Warnock's cross is blocked by Dean Page and Fehmi takes a touch and plays a pinpoint ball to Paul Curtis. The winger flicks it on with his head to Griffiths before getting it back in the centre circle. He skips past Jovanovic and then past Lees before running through on goal. He then has the composure to slot the ball past Kenny with a fantastic finish.

10' - GOAL! Griffiths dispossesses Jovanovic 25 metres from the Leeds goal and the ball falls to Curtis who nutmegs Warnock before driving down the right wing. He then turns Warnock inside out with another feint before playing to Roy Griffiths and the forward strokes it into the roof of the net from 10 yards with his right foot. Leeds are dreadful at the back today, this could be embarrassing for Leeds.

16' - An excellent counter from Bromley as the ball is played up to Curtis by Page and he plays a one-two with Griffiths before playing Page down the right. The full backs low ball to Collins is world class but the winger was flagged offside. He missed the target but it was good play nonetheless.

33' - Keiran Fehmi picks up the ball in the centre circle and plays it up to Griffiths who takes a touch before playing the one-two with Collins, the wingers through ball is good and Griffiths smashes the ball to the goal but it is central and Kenny tips it over. Great chance but an even better save from the Leeds keeper.

34' - Bromley win a free kick on the edge of the box and Fehmi takes it... Just over the bar, it had power and swerve, just not enough dip. Keeper wouldn't have had a chance in saving that if it was on target, fantastic effort by Fehmi.

39' - Jovanovic and Warnock get in the way of each other and Griffiths picks up the ball in the Leeds half. He then plays it to Curtis who skips past Warnock and tries to curl a shot from just outside the box with the outside of his left foot but his shot goes wide of the near post.

44' - GOAL! What a goal, what exceptional play on the left by Curbishley and Collins as they pass and move perfectly on the left and the latter clips in a very good ball to the near post and there is Roy Griffiths who powers a header towards goal and although Kenny gets a touch, he can't block it from going in the net. This game is pretty much over now. Boos ring out at Elland Road in the final minutes of the first half.

HALF TIME: Leeds United 0 - 3 Bromley - This is a bit like a family of lions attacking a helpless animal. Bromley have just demolished Leeds in this first half and they look irresistible going forward and solid at the back. Leeds have managed a shot on goal but it was very much hit and hope and it missed the target. Bromley will probably extend their lead at this rate.

54' - If anything, Leeds needed that break because even though Bromley have still maintained possession at least Leeds are more organised as a defensive unit now.

60' - The ball comes into Ford and he has two players around him and with one bit of beautiful skill, takes both of them out of the game before driving through on goal before playing a nice little pass to Griffiths just outside the box, the forward takes a touch and shoots towards goal but it is low, weak and central and Kenny saves easily. Fantastic play by Eric Ford as he seems to get better and better with age.

74' - Excellent build up play from Bromley as they move the ball around well between Fehmi, Bates and Ford and the latter plays it up towards Griffiths who passes to Curtis on the right. The winger takes a touch before driving it towards goal. Kenny pushes it to his right and Griffiths tries to slot it in from a narrow angle but hits the side netting.

76' - Bromley substitutions: Stuart > Page; Kamyuka > Fehmi; Davenport > Collins. Bromley will surely look to see out the game with a clean sheet as it has been comfortable for them/

87' - Bromley remain resolute as it's kind of hit and hope with long balls coming in from deep by Leeds, Bromley are clearing it away and the likes of Bates and Kamyuka are keeping their composure and passing well.

FULL TIME: Leeds United 0 - 3 Bromley - Bromley maintained their performance but Leeds did eenough to prevent more damage. Bromley were at their best today and the Championship favourites look very good on this basis.

MAN OF THE MATCH: Roy Griffiths had a good game today claiming two goals and played a big part in the other, another fantastic performance from Bromley's record goalscorer who is back to his best.

NOTABLE MENTIONS: As usual, Paul Curtis gets a mention for his fantastic link up play and he gives Griffiths so much support up front on that right wing. Ian Morris was absolutely rock solid, despite holding a high line, kept his composure throughout and won the ball back every time it got near him and calmly played it out from the back with great play.

MANAGER ANALYSIS:

Very good performance today lads, we had a tough late equaliser in the last game but we've done superbly to get back to our usual standard today, let's keep this up and we will surely go up. Only us and Middlesbrough are unbeaten now but we're eight points ahead with eleven games gone. There's no way they can see out games like we can. But one slip up and that'll give them the boost to catch up and we do not want that happening at any stage in the year. Okay.

Keep focussed and we will go up as winners with no problems whatsoever.

Leeds are shite. Why didn't we put 5 past them? Oh yeah because the lads haven't worked on their finishing.

*bleep*s sake I even pulled off some sweet moves to get the ball to you Griffiths, and you can't finish it? Would have been one of the best goals scored this season if you could have finished that!

Griffiths

Collins Keevil

Da Luz - Lloyd

Fehmi

Williams - Potts - Massey - Page

Nicholls

Best - Campbell

Olsson - Dunn - Demidov - Marshall

Spurr - Dann - Suchy - Lowe

Robinson

TEAM NEWS:
  • Bromley change near enough the entire team as they look to rest key players. This is a huge opportunities for a lot of these players to stake a claim for a first team role.
  • Keiran Fehmi captains the home side.
  • Blackburn will try and contain Bromley and attach down the wings but the 3rd place side will have trouble if they just sit back and try and soak pressure.
  • Paul Robinson captains the visitors.

MATCH REPORT:

KICK OFF: Bromley in their home kit of all white with Blackburn in their away strip of red and white shirts, navy shorts and red socks.

4' - GOAL! No? Blackburn counter attack and best pokes the ball through to Leon Best who smashes his shot towards goal and Nicholls had no chance but he is just offside. Great start from the visitors to test Bromley this early.

15' - Bromley have now settled into the game and they're threatening through Keevil as he uses his trickery to get past Spurr before trying to play Collins through. The pass is slightly overweighted and Robinson smothers the ball before Collins gets there.

24' - Another great chance for Bromley as Williams fakes a cross to get beyond Marshall before playing it inside to Da Luz, the midfielder holds off Demidov before playing it to Griffiths and the forward intelligently passes it through to Keevil and his first time effort is very well saved by Robinson.

32' - What a chance again, Griffiths drives through on goal and is tackled but the ball falls to Keevil who plays a first time, lofted through ball to Da Luz who has ghosted in at the back post and the playmaker's shot is again saved by Robinson who is on top form today.

HALF TIME: Bromley 0 - 0 Blackburn Rovers - Bromley have had three good chances to open scoring but have been denied by superb goalkeeping. Blackburn have also threatened and this game could go either way and whoever scores first will be important. Bromley have a stronghold on possession and have created much better chances though.

49' - Blackburn come out strong in this half as they did in the first and Marshall puts a good ball into the box to try and find Campbell but Page nods the ball away but it falls to Best who's shot from 24 metres goes a foot over the bar.

64' - Griffiths drops deep and Da Luz plays it to him. The centre forward looks up and picks out Collins with a fantastic through ball but the wingers effort cannons off the near post and is cleared by Suchy. Great effort. Bromley have been so unlucky today with their finishing.

78' - The ball finally goes out of play and Bromley can make their three substitutions: Curtis > Keevil; Bates > Lloyd; Kamyuka > Da Luz. Fehmi moves to attacking midfield with Bates supporting and Kamyuka holding.

85' - Bromley break down the right as Page plays Curtis through in open space and the winger picks out Griffiths with a low ball to the near post and the forward flicks it towards goal and Robinson gets a fingertip onto it to divert it onto the post. Dann clears it out for a throw. Another good save from Robinson and it looks like he will keep it 0-0.

87' - Bromley push once again and Bates plays it to Collins who uses his skill to maneuver space and he takes a shot to the near post... And he hits the post again! This is just not going to be Bromley's day, any other game and they'd be three, four or even five goals up.

89' - GOAL! They've done it! They have finally done it! The will to win was too much for Blackburn. Fehmi gets the ball and plays it sideways to Bates who drags it to his right to avoid the tackle from David Dunn and he plays an inch perfect lofted through ball to Keiran Fehmi who had made a surging run forward and the midfielder powers a header towards goal and Robinson gets a hand onto it but cannot do enough this time to divert it away from goal. The fans have gone absolutely insane here at Hayes Lane. Incredible scenes here.

FULL TIME: Bromley 1 - 0 Blackburn Rovers - There it is. Bromley claim the win in a hard fought game against a game Blackburn. They were dominant and had 7 shots on target and Robinson did exceptionally well to keep them out. However, you look at championship winning sides, when things don't happen for them, they'll grind out a result and Bromley have done that today.

MAN OF THE MATCH: Lewis Collins hit the post twice and was the point of attack today with Curtis being rested and he stepped up. He's not been himself in the early part of the season but this is the return of Collins of old. Bromley will need him as an alternative route when Curtis isn't on form or even when he is.

NOTABLE MENTIONS: Match winner Keiran Fehmi was good at instigating play and even better when pushed forward. He has been criticised for his lack out goals and assists this season but when he does claim them, they're important. Ken Bates linked up with him well when he came on and made the assist with a pinpoint ball.

MANAGER ANALYSIS:

Tough game out there guys but we could have got more. Three times we hit the woodwork and that's three more times we could have and probably should have scored. I went on and on at you guys about finishing chances but we were snatching at them today, not the composure we've had in the last month or so. Bolton next and we are big favourites for it, let's get a big result.

We can only do that if you guys finish your chances.

It was a hard fought game, but sometimes this happens when you get a bunch of guys in that haven't been playing a lot. The determination, and effort was there from the guys though... especially Fehmi (Adinio) and he was the one who won us the game. In the beggining of the season he didn't have that, and he wasn't doing a whole lot to lift the team. He's been getting into his groove now though, and that's got to be absouletly frightening for other teams around the league that our best player hasn't been playing great but we're still smashing teams.

Apologies for the lack of updates but I'm getting the game I played a week a go up tonight and I'm going to power through the season so we can move on. Got a plan in my head on how to do it at the moment but whether it'll go smoothly. I don't know.

TL;DR - you'll see a few updates in clusters.

Keun-Ho - Rob Hall

Moritz

Bourceanu - Pintilii - Spearing - Eagles

Ream - Knight - Mills

Lynch

Griffiths

Holmes Curtis

Da Luz - Fehmi

Alighieri

Williams - Stuart - Kidd - Massey

Nicholls

TEAM NEWS:
  • Bolton will pack out the midfield and try to play to their front three with long balls from deep to the flanks.
  • Lynch captains the home side.
  • Bromley restore their back line and Bates comes in for Trystan Lloyd. Strong side for Bromley today as they look to bounce back after the draw against Middlesbrough.
  • Vice captain, Elliot Alighieri captains the visitors.

MATCH REPORT:

KICK OFF: Bolton are in their home kit of white shirts, blue shorts and hooped socks with Bromley in their away strip of red and black shirts, white shorts and red socks.

8' - GOAL! Spearing plays a fantastic through ball to Bourceanu and the winger plays a great first time ball into Rob Hall who wraps his foot around that sweetly and Nicholls gets a hand to it but it isn't enough as it smacks against the inside of the post and goes in. Terrible defending by Bromley.

9' - Bromley have a chance to level as Griffiths plays Da Luz into the box and he has Curtis in free space to his left but he goes for it instead of passing it across and he hits the side netting. The young midfielder should have played it to Curtis. That'd have been a goal if he had.

25' - Great move there as Nicholls boots the ball up to Griffiths and the forward nods it down to Da Luz and the playmaker passes it forward to Curtis who plays a first time ball to Holmes and the winger picks out a surging Griffiths coming through the middle but the forward's touch is heavy and Lynch gets there before the outstretched leg of Griffiths.

31' - Curtis tackles Bourceanu in the Bolton half and goes round Zat Knight, he then plays Griffiths through and the forward shoots first time with his right but his shot to the near post is off target. Once again this season, the tall forward goes for the near post rather than going for the far, Parmar is not impressed with the finishing of his top goalscorer.

HALF TIME: Bolton Wanderers 1 - 0 Bromley - Poor performance today from the league leaders as they have made only three chances with one being on target while the hosts have had three of their four on target. Something needs to change here from Bromley as they're being torn apart on the flanks.

46' - Bromley substitution at half time. Ford > Holmes. Da Luz moves to the left wing and Ford comes into the attacking midfield slot. And Bromley switch to a 4-2-3-1 formation.

52' - Curtis is blocked off by Ream 25 metres from goal and Griffiths takes an early free kick to Da Luz in the box and the winger's shot goes wide. That took Bolton by surprise as they look to the referee for an answer.

63' - Bromley look much, much better now. This 4-2-3-1 formation suits them well.

68' - That was chance of the game as Da Luz wins the ball from a throw in and plays a ball into Griffiths, Mills misses the header and the forward chests it down before shooting on the turn. He miscues it and it goes wide. Would have been a great time to score.

69' - Bromley substitution; Kamyuka > Alighieri.

77' - The pressure is on Bromley now, they're dominating possession but are not doing much. Meanwhile the home side look threatening in the counter attack like they did in the first half.

82' - GOAL! There it is, the leveler! The ball is played up to Griffiths on the half way line and he plays it to Da Luz before breaking the offside trap. The winger picks him out and Roy Griffiths outpaces the defence. The forward has enough composure to slot the ball past Lynch. Momentum with the visitors now as they've looked like their usual self in this first half but can they breach the resilient defence again?

FULL TIME: Bolton Wanderers 1 - 1 Bromley - Bromley were much better in that second half but they were frustrated by Bolton at the back. A big three man defence was too much for Griffiths and his supporting wingers lacked the strength to compete physically. Perhaps they should have won but they're still leaders by a long way.

MAN OF THE MATCH: Roy Griffiths was the goalscorer and apex of attack, he had a good target man performance but support was lacking. Holmes offered nothing in the first half and Da Luz isn't a good enough player as a playmaker.

NOTABLE MENTIONS: Not too many to mention but Julian Stuart was a top class act in defence and kept them solid after they went a goal behind. Had they won and kept a clean sheet. He would probably be man of the match. Eric Ford changed the game in the second half and allowed Bromley to dominate in that playmaker slot. Despite having a very good technical midfield, the 31 year old has been exceptional this season.

MANAGER ANALYSIS:

Guys that was awful, we should have got more out of the game than we did and we're in danger of surrendering the eight point lead we have at the top. I expect a whole lot better from you than what we just saw and you all need to step up if we want a shot at the league.

I don't mind losing per say. I mean everyone loses at some point. What I don't like is when no one plays like they care. Awful performance by us, and we should be lucky we didn't lose. Is our weakness our lack of physicality? Probably. We've done poorly against Middlesbrough and now Bolton. Maybe we should up our work load, but we can't keep playing like this. We look tired out there, and it's only 15 games into the season. We have a long way to go, and we can't just get shoved around like this.

And more importantly why is it that our offense only get going when you have a *bleep*ing 31 year old in the team. I'm not even the best player on the team, but when I'm in we score loads. Fehmi (Adinio) and Da Luz (Johnny Pizza Man 78) really need to step up their game. Makes no sense that I have to be the lynchpin of this team when they're easily more talented than me. It's like they just don't want it enough.

It's easier to blame than own up, and say 'Yeah, I admit, I need to improve.' Ni point in going around acting like you're perfect when there are aspects of your game that need to improve. You're too direct Eric. A team is a unit. We help each other to improve, not just state 'You're crap, you need to improve' and leave it. The whole team needs to pull together. As for Julian, leave the kid alone, he can do special things, he just needs confidence. It's a draw not a loss. Come on.

Ings

Hamalainen - Stock

Wallace - Hewitt - Myrheim - Treacy

Long - Duff - Anderson

Heaton

Davenport

Collins Curtis

Ford - Lloyd

Fehmi

Curbishley - Morris - Kidd - Page

Robertson

TEAM NEWS:
  • Burnley haven't done well this season but still pose a threat on the counter with their six man midfield and they will surely frustrate the Bromley team.
  • Heaton captains the home side.
  • Bromley restore many regulars back into the side as they look to bounce back from their recent draw against Bolton.
  • Robertson regains captaincy after he recovers from his minor injury.

MATCH REPORT:

KICK OFF: Burnley in their claret and blue shirt with white shorts and hooped socks. Bromley in their home kit..

16' - Bromley have enjoyed the vast majority of possession but Burnley are making it difficult for them and the visitors are finding it hard to create chances in the final third.

37' - Bromley finally find a way through to goal thanks to intricate passing from Collins and Ford and it is the latter that picks a neat ball to Davenport in the box bit the forward hits the outside of the near post.

41' - Bromley try again and a nice piece of skill from Davenport gives him some room outside the box but his powerful shot is blocked and the ball falls to Collins who takes a touch before firing a shot at goal, Heaton does well to turn it wide.

HALF TIME: Burnley 0 - 0 Bromley - Poor game but Burnley are doing very well to contain the visitors. The home side haven't managed a shot but ha be limited the visitors to three, a goal seems inevitable at this rate but Bromley will need to find it sooner than later.

49' - Bromley start well as they move the ball forward to Curtis and the winger plays it inside to Davenport who double touches past Anderson and drives through on goal, his last touch is heavy and allows Heaton to rush out and claim it. Poor play from the centre forward.

61' - Bromley again find a way through as Ford turns towards goal and plays Collins in with a fantastic ball. The winger takes a touch before trying to curl it into the far corner but Heaton does well to push it away from goal, Curtis picks it up and tries to cross it in but cannot get a good enough connection on it.

68' - Burnley press forward and Wallace tries to put in a cross but Robertson claims it and quickly throws it half way up the pitch where Collins nods it down to Davenport and the forward takes a touch before playing it through to Curtis and the winger drives to goal and unleashes a powerful shot that Heaton does exceptionally to save.

69' - Bromley substitutions. Kamyuka > Ford; Holmes > Collins. Kamyuka moves to defensive midfield and Fehmi to attacking midfield. Odd changes but let's see what happens and Bromley need something different to happen on the pitch.

84' - Kidd wins the ball back on the half way line and plays it up to Lloyd who picks out Curtis with a phenomenal through ball and the winger tries a chip to beat Heaton and it just goes over. Fantastic effort but should have done better.

90+4' - GOAL! We are two minutes over stoppage time and Bromley are going all out here to claim the win and Lloyd surges down the right and plays it back to Page who puts a nice low ball into the ball for Fehmi and he takes a touch before putting the ball in the back of the net. But the flag is offside, that was a close and controversial call, but it was the right call.

FULL TIME: Burnley 0 - 0 Bromley - Bromley were good but they were constantly closed down going forward and a lot of the time Burnley outnumbered them. Bromley have seemingly lost their goalscoring touch but that might be down to other teams sitting back and closing them down quicker than at the start of the season.

MAN OF THE MATCH: Trystan Lloyd had a good game today linking midfield and attack and was the pivot today, won his tackles and his passes were accurate. Good solid performance.

NOTABLE MENTIONS: Luke Davenport did well today and his movement and link up play was good, if he had got the goal he wanted then he'd have been man of the match. Lewis Collins and Paul Curtis did well together again and were threatening Heaton who had a masterclass performance in goal.

MANAGER ANALYSIS:

Come on guys, we need to be that extra bit quicker, that extra bit better but the fact is that right now we aren't. They're figuring us out now, they know our plays and they're getting the better of us. Tactically I think we need to improve, we've got the defensive shape rock solid and near enough unbreakable. It's harder for teams to attack than defend, naturally, but we are better, we just are not showing it.

Prove to me, prove to the fans, prove to yourselves that you ARE Bromley players, you're not here for a paycheck, you're here because you love the club, you've grown up with the club, this is our club and we are not substandard, I have played with you guys for my career and I know exactly how good each and every one of you is but you aren't showing it. We're still leading the league but for every slip up game like this, the gap is shortening and we're still only in December.
