I need help downloading Torrent files, when I try it goes at 5kb.

Is there anyway to make it faster?

Make due note of rule number 19 in the sitewide rules of etiquette and behavior.

Oh and 1.5 days is a bit long for me for A few songs for Frets on Fire.

It depends on how many seeders and leechers there are, and how much they're uploading. There's not much you can do, besides making sure no one of your line is using up all your bandwidth.

Torrents have a legitimate purpose, it's just that people use them for piracy.

Are you behind a firewall or router? If so, you'll have to open the port used for your torrent program.

Torrents are legal. All we can do is assume he is doing it for legal purposes.

I find that the program u download with affects the speed. Try uTorrent(http://utorrent.com)

Also, seed a bit yourself, I set my upload to 50kbps and download unlimited. i average a few hundred kbps. download, sometimes higher. get a better quality torrent.
