If you're looking for an arcade-style flight game, no.
This is a simulation after all.

Excuse me! But Flight Simulator is WELL WORTH THE MONEY!
I feel that the thrill of taking the controls of an aircraft is really great and you should buy FS04.

It depends on what you want to do with it if you want to muck about then no but if you want to fly probably like I do then yes it is worth the money.
