Why the *bleep* does the couple across the street insist on letting their doberman bark non stop for the better part of the morning disrupting my sleep. I'd love to kick that dog in the face....

My Dads Aunt (don't know what the correct name for her relation to me is) had a doberman. Crazy things, like! As soon as you knocked on the door it would bark then, once opened, it would be running around you banging into things and trying to jump on you. Not much fun when you're 10 years old and not too fond of large dogs anyway.

My wrist is quite sore. In the middle of my holiday in Ibiza I got a bit too drunk and fell over but got right back up and walked back to the apartment. Next morning I wake up and can't move it. Over the next few days it heals enough for me to move it without any pain.
I come home and play hockey and it hurts again. I let it rest for a week but it's getting steadily worse. I play hockey again tonight.
Now my wrist is aching and I can barely move it without it aching. I don't know if it's broken or just sprained. I've sourced the pain but I can feel any pains and the swelling has completely gone so I can't see it being worsr than a hairline fracture.
The worst thing is that I'm meant to be flying out to Amsterdam to take part in a hockey tournament. Now I don't know whether to play the tournament then let it rest until it's healed or just go to the doctor (after the tournament ). Bad timing much?

Dobermans are vicious, I was attacked by one when I was about 5 or 6, had to have quite a few stitches in my stomache as a result. Hated them ever since.

As for the wrist, my first thought was to rest it. I had problems with my knee when I was younger and played through the pain and it turned out that I spent longer out due to the games I played than I would of done had I rested it.

Having said that, I can think of one or two things in Amsterdam that would help with the pain

I don't know what you are referring to.

Anyway, I think I'll rest it but only after the tournament. I've spent a bit of money on this and I'm far too competitive to just sit on the sidelines!
