Ross Kemp was born 21st July 1964, and ever since then has been setting the world alight with top notch performances and bouts of heroicness.
His first acting gig was a Fruit 'N Fibre advert for Kellogg's, but it wasn't long before he was playing Graham Lodsworth in Emmerdale Farm (oh yes it was that long ago!). He then went on to play Grant Mitchel in Eastenders, where he coined any phrase with "slag" protruding from it. After he left Eastenders in 1999, although returning throughout the coming years, he stared in SAS drama, Ultimate Force. Although unrealistic and leaving many plot holes in each story, it was saved by Kemps performance.
More recently his "On Gangs" and "In Afghanistan" series has won him and got him nominated for BAFTAs.
I think Ross Kemp is a true British hero, do you?

I've seen most of the 'On Gangs' series and thought they were great. Liked how he got involved with some Russian tribe induction training, you won't see many presenters doing that.
Would've liked to see the 'In Afghanistan' shows, but never really sat down on the night to watch it.

Only ever watched one of his programmes, which was the Ross Kemp on gangs, in Colombia.
But that was quality, just never had time or just forgot to watch the others.

I used to think that he was a complete silly billy, but volunteering to spend two months getting shot at in Helmand with the Royal Anglian Regiment has forced me to revaluate my opinion.

I thought In Afghanastan was pretty dissapointing, it would have been better if he grabbed a pistol and went commando jack beuer style.

Just finished the first season of Ultimate Force, and I must say for 3 quid from Cash Mart it was well worth it!
SAS = good
Chris Ryan = Good
Ross Kemp = GOD!
If anyone hasn't seen it, I would 100% recommend it! Its even got the Asian doctor out of Heroes in it!
