Got a 360, a PS3 and a great gaming PC. Why on earth would I ever want to buy it for 360 because of a timed exclusive, when what I can get later will blow it away in terms of superior graphics and modding. But yeah I guess impatience is money in this business, which is all ok, I'm just not that impatient.

Centurion I'm to the point where I honestly don't see the reason for purchasing a Bethesda game unless you get it for PC. It just has TONS more life on the rig as opposed to consoles. Don't get me wrong, I own Skyrim on the PS3, but I still find myself going back to my PC version of Oblivion.
On the other hand, Dawnguard looks really good. I think I can wait for this release, it'll be worth it in the long run.

I have skyrim for 360 and i have dawnguard. I wish i had a good pc to play skyrim on so that it would be more fun. I liked oblivion for xbox better than skyrim for xbox... they really need to fix bugs that can be fixed with the unofficial patch on pc. I have it on my pc, but it barely runs even when i put it on 240p. 64MB integrated graphics... sucks to suck

I'm actually kind of glad that it's delayed, so I can focus on other things for the time being, like life.
Anyhow, I agree with Centurion. PS3 versions are always better anyway, even if it wasn't for the fact that lots of the issues will already be fixed by the time we get it.

Bethesda was always a PC company, why have they chosen to betray us? This is really upsetting me.

Oh hey whats that?!? Oh wait, it's just the giant ass payday Microsoft payed them for the exclusive early rights...... Yeah Money does that, makes people turn on people.

He's just frustrated. Having used both systems, it has been my logical conclusion that PS3 is much more enjoyable than the 360. I assume he feels the same way, so he's annoyed that the 360 gets Skyrim stuff first. However I can live with it (especially this time), because the PS3 gets things like Uncharted, inFamous, LittleBigPlanet, Starhawk, Ratchet & Clank, and many more. Besides, as I said, a lot of the bugs will be fixed by the time we get it.
By the way, if you're going to make fun of someone in the future, I suggest you proofread your comment first, because it doesn't actually make any sense. I just inferred what you meant to say.

samwise995 actually it came out exactly like I meant to type it... so yeah.... I know it doesn't make sense, but it was a joke not a serious sort of "Wow get over your self pal, stop being a fan boy" sort of comment. And another thing... How do you know he isn't a PC gamer? which, honestly is the best platform to play skyrim on. Don't just assume someone who is hating on the xbox is a ps3 lover, it's foolish. Hell, for all you know he doesn't even have skyrim, and xbox, or a ps3 and he is just ranting because his Wii doesn't get any of this.

Oh, and don't derail the topic to go on a "Name the exclusive games spree" sort of thing. It comes off as a bit fanboyish. Fact is Microsoft paid Bethesda to get the content first, if you don't like it, maybe write Sony and let them know you are upset that the console you are choosing to make your primary console and form of gaming isn't getting more of this sort of thing. The industry is changing, and if customers can get a Major Developer like Bioware to release an extended ending to their game, I am sure if enough people speak out, Sony might at least release a reason as to why they don't buy timed exclusive rights.

And as for the which console I prefer(I know you didn't ask, but just for complete transparency), out of the PS3 and Xbox 360. The 360, I like the controller layout. It seems to feel more natural to me with the staggered analog's and the raised up bumpers buttons instead of the side to side triggers. Not sure why.

Good point, I guess I was wrong to assume he owned a PS3. Maybe he owns a PC, though I am assuming he owns Skyrim on some platform other than the 360.
I do agree that PC has a lot of advantages to it (I had Oblivion on both PC and PS3) but while mods are great, something about having a console to with which to play RPG's is just fun for me.
And as I said, I don't mind the fact that 360 gets it first. That doesn't really bother me all that much. I do wish they would say when we get it, but again, I've got plenty of other things to do right now. The "name exclusive games spree" was just my way of saying "the 360 gets some cool things, but I can live with it because the PS3 does too", which I guess is what I probably should have said.
And of course your opinion is yours (I have heard a lot of people say the same thing about the 360 controller, so I get where you're coming from), but for some reason I actually like the PS3 controller better. But, I don't want to debate about which platform is better, because nobody is ever convinced and one or both sides usually ends up frustrated.
Lastly, I didn't mean any offense when I made that comment to you, I was just typing it really fast, so I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to how it came off. It's so hard to convey tone on the internet anyway. Sorry if you thought it was ill-natured.
