Most likely not, although as long as Ryu Hayabusa was in that would still at least draw Ninja Gaiden fans. In these games these days it's all about sex appeal, and that's where the girls come in.

well duh the girls make the game more interesting to a certain point but more or less it's the moves and choreography that makes it look cool.

Sadly, I wasn't going to get this game when I found out Hitomi wasn't in it (When she wasn't, before I knew she was in it). I was frusterated that I would need to master Ein... thankfully, I never had to do that (My Ein whiffs).
So yea, if Hitomi wasn't in it, I wouldn't want it. But did I buy it just for her? Heck no. It's too expensive a game to buy for the chicks only.
EDIT: Hitomi, not Hotomi.
