Courtesy of the people from 1UP who got the game early. I'm liking the look of the World Map.

That Rock Candy Plains looks awesome! Other then that it looks like there about the same as always.

Rock Candy Mountains reminds me of Choco Mountain from MK64 for some reason. If only. Glad to see they brought in another new environment though. They really needed it.

Is this the first time they've named each area after a food item?

A Person, I think one of the classic Mario games also had food related worlds. Pretty sure one was about doughnuts...

Super Mario World had Donut Plains, Vanilla Dome, and Chocolate Island, but I don't think any of the games have named all of the worlds after food.

I wouldn't call Frosted Glacier food myself - which, being about snow and all, is automatically my favourite area of the game. ^^ I always like the snow environments in a game. And the map looks great.

For some reason, Soda Jungle seems scary, with the leafless trees and the purple toxic water.

Dark Arcanine You've never eaten a spoon of frosting while baking?

It's just that "Frosted" isn't really some sort of food. Frosting may be, but not Frosted.

You're right, but do you say "frosting cake" or "frosted-cake", generally?

Makes more sense put that way. I think as the name stands it doesn't really conjure the image of food to me so much as something covered by frost, and I would call it icing.

Same thing -- "icing cake", or "iced". Usually it's the latter.

I will admit, it doesn't sound appetizing at all to me.

I think it's better called Ice Glacier. Ice and Glacier are more the same.

I like ice or iced better than frosted. Either would suit the terrain, judging from the look of that map.
