Codemasters has confirmed that a demo for F1 2012 is due to launch on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC next week.
A taster of the racer will arrive on the Xbox 360 first on Monday, while North American PS3 users receive the game a day later. It'll also launch on the PC via Steam on the same date, while European PS3 owners can download the demo a day later. Japanese gamers, meanwhile, can obtain the demo on September 24.
The demo will feature two new features from the racer; "the first day of the Young Driver Test and the first race of Season Challenge at Monza". As for why the game's toughest AI difficulty isn't included in the demo, Codemasters explained that it's only present in the Career and Quick Race modes available in the main game.
F1 2012, which won't release on the PlayStation Vita and Wii U due to Codemasters wanting to maintain quality on the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, is due for a launch in North America on September 18 and three days later in Europe.
