European games no longer have casino's. I'm not sure about the other ones.

I don't think I ever used the Safari zone. I don't see a point unless it has a Pokémon you like.

My guess is they took them out all together ether out of fairness or so they dont have to program two different casinos. I find it funny there was no casino in B/W considering they were trying to recreate the feel of gen I, cant see a reason not to include them ether unless having the battle subway and stuff has something to do with it.
I think I read somewhere they took the slot machines out cos of parents complaining about the gambling etc. Could be wrong though.
I think I heard the same thing, not sure, I find it funny that people would just now be complaining about them now, though people now a days seem keen on complaining about the most minor things. I see the point of not wanting kids to see that stuff but you would think its one of the things most kids young enough for that to be a concern wouldnt even bother with it, and pokemon certainly isnt the first game to feature casinos, bars, and the like and certainly not the worst. I also wonder how many people complaining actually take a look at their kid's game and know what their complaining about besides just the fact its a casino.

I also feel bad for anything finding a shiny in one and failing to catch it.
Lol, I was just thinking about that last night while playing emerald. Almost my exact words too.

Miss the Safari Zone?

Yeah, I love throwing balls of mud at pokemon instead of battling them. : |

I miss the Safari Zone! I hope it makes a return but if it does, it better not turn out like the Great Marsh.
Heley also misses the casinos! D:

Yes the Safari Zone was kind of pointless but it was a fun staple that needs a return.

Was anyone else bummed out when they found out G/S/C didnt have a safari zone in it? Of all things to leave out it had to be that, thought I supose if they did have it in everything would be below level 30.

I would like to see the Safari Zone return and feel it's likely with BW2. I didn't mind the one in SS/HG, but I don't want another Great Marsh. In fact, another brand new way to play it would be interesting. ^^

I agree. Considering a lot of the Unova feel was almost a "remastering of Kanto" I believe its highly likely they will put a Safari Zone in there.

If they do it will most likely revolve around the new seasonal system as a mechanic of change.

Well, you know what this Safari Zone is lacking right now?

THE AREA CUSTOMIZER.

Personally, I would want the Area Customizer to make a return.

Is that what was in HG/SS? I wouldn't mind if it returned, but using it to obtain specific Pokémon was annoying imo.

Yeah, they used it in HG/SS. And Object Arrangement would be a definite no-no for you, right? The Area Customizer and Object Arrangement go hand-in-hand.

Its not object arrangement itself that people have a problem with, its the place object x and wait y number of days for pokemon z to appear. Id like object arrangement to return but rather than be required to find certain pokemon only make certain ones more likely to appear, or at least only use it to "unlock" them.
